I worked at Life Time Fitness

    Pros

Great place to work, free membership, facility was always kept nice, and the guests were great, and we got a discount at the café.

    Cons

Should have paid more for the work that was out it. The place is very busy for when you want to work out, and they charge a lot for their membership.

    Advice to Management

keep doing hat youre doing, they are very cool and nice managers and work with you when you need them.

    Pros

They educated, motivate and empower clients a customize workout plan and healthy eating to foster results.

    Cons

Too expensive. Need to package membership with personal training. Too young of sales guys need to really get into clients needs. Peoples needs should change and every four months with eating and workout regiment.

    Advice to Management

Every member should have 100 LT bucks to use towards fitness goals. That would help them get going and retain them.

    Pros

Very enjoyable, healthy, team atmosphere. The co-workers are all motivated and willing to help out when needed.

    Cons

The pay is not great and there is not much room for growth in this department. Not able to provide much input on decisions as it is a corporation and is a long process to make changes.

    Advice to Management

    Nothing!

    Pros

Flexibility in schedule. Provided with some awesome leadership. Ability to go as far as your attitude and work ethic will take you.

    Cons

Very little work life balance. Many who come into the company are very health conscious and actively work out. The job becomes so demanding that exercise is the last thing on your mind at the end of the day because you are to exhausted.

    Advice to Management

When you are at club level, you often hear "Im not asking much, so please can you do this one thing"? Those one things come from everybody above you, corporate, national manager, regional, gm. By end of the day you are doing so much of these one things, you find yourself neglecting your main purpose-lead your team to artistry. The operations team gets very little appreciation or respect from anybody and yet many of them are the hardest working individuals. I enjoy working for lifetime and have much passion for what I do. My biggest challenge is dealing with the continued lack of respect for what my team does every day.

    Pros

Free membership, fun and fast paced.

    Cons

Sometimes the supervisors play favorites, minimum wage.

    Advice to Management

Recognize those who work hard and appreciate all employees, not just the full time people.

    Pros

Great Hours, decent management, good environment, free membership

    Cons

Shady sales people, obnoxious audits that are irrelevant to the actual work, and lots of cleaning

    Advice to Management

Hire 18+ not starting at 16, it doesn't work.
