    Pros

A very fun environment and they train you with universal skills that can be use in and out of the water.

    Cons

There weren't as many hours as I liked for there to be but it did give me a steady source of income.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good environment. Typically most people don't become customers at their previous work places but it's hard to refuse the temptation of going back to Life Time Fitness. The Environment is contagious!

Professionalism is needed in all departments.

    Pros

Great work environment! I worked as a stylist at the life spa and felt the education was great. They really invest a lot in their employees.

    Cons

There weren't very many walk ins. Most of the customers had particular stylists they liked to see, so it was hard for a new stylist.

    Advice to Management

I think the stylists could use more training before they go onto the floor.

    Pros

Great education Drive to help the client Very good baseline place to start out There is plenty of room for growth The environment allows for dramatic change to occur

    Cons

Held back by corporate policies managers left bad taste in mouth Some of the products sold are not supported by research draw pay is a terrible blight on your paychecks

    Advice to Management

Don't hire program leads based off of how good they are somewhere else. If they don't sync or work synergistically with the team, it will cause problems down the line

    Pros

Life Time takes chances on young professionals. If you're smart, fast, and driven, you won't find a company that will grow your skills and career faster. For being so large, it's a relatively flat organization, so the opportunities for work in many different areas and levels are exciting.

    Cons

Hours can be long. You believe in your work, and most of your co-workers do, too, so it's energizing; but if it isn't for you, there is a big risk of burn out.

    Advice to Management

Thank you for being the pace-setter for not only the fitness, and champions for millennials.

    Pros

Upward mobility Good pay Supportive management Friendly customers

    Cons

Depending on location: Unreliable coworkers Lazy supervisors

    Advice to Management

I have not encountered bad management in any of the locations I have worked at or consisted. However, some department heads don't enforce club policy in their employees.
