    Pros

    97% of the people who work at LifeLock are great. Average talent, but very nice. Office locations and spaces are excellent, and benefits outstanding aside from the fact that they don't provide much in terms of food (which is key at least in the Silicon Valley).

    Cons

    We sell a product that is basically a sham, and we could easily own up to it and fix it but no one's at the wheel.

    Product management is someone clueless. They don't code, they can't design, they're not visionary marketeers, and yet the own the product???

    Advice to Management

    Simplify your message. Become an insurance company. Offer real benefit to you customers. Get rid of Rush L. and grow to a wider, more intelligent market base. Or perish in due time...

    Good benefits.
    Lots of PTO!
    Great perks and employee gifts.
    Awesome co-workers!
    Nice work environment and culture.

    Cons

    Career development within your role is limited. Some departments seem to promote their people and others don't.
    Compensation is not competitive.

    Advice to Management

    Please don't be afraid to promote and reward employees that perform well. It will help with employee retention and loyalty especially as the job market improves.

    Pros

    Good Benefits, love my co-workers.

    Cons

    Company works as a CAS system. It is quite obvious who the upper echelon are and the rest are just bottom feeders. Please do not believe the fake reviews that management adds. There is not room to move and it's all about who you know. Skills of talented people are completely overlooked. Jobs are labeled as education when really they are all sales positions.

    Pros

    This is a good company to work for if you don't care much about moving up in the company and when things don't make sense you don't question anything. If you want a job where you come in, do your job and go home... not have anything invested in it- this is the job for you. Vacation time is nice and pay for certain jobs are either average or in many cases lower than average but the vacation time can help to offset that.

    Cons

    Management doesn't listen to reps, upper management... while they have an "open door policy" they frown upon actually using it. If you go to the corporate side and if you feel like you can't use the regular chain of command (hence the open door policy) you may be reprimanded. Most of the people working in this place are simply waiting for a better opportunity to come up and a lot of people are not 100% invested in the goal of the company.

    Advice to Management

    Stop using scare tactics to sell your products. Stop targeting older clients because you know they are more likely to believe the sponsors that you pay to use. Also, stop fudging member numbers and company data that is published to make the company look better than things are..

    Pros

    fair benefits and opportunity for growth, some managers really believe in what they do, co-workers are fair with you, management is not always willing or able to work with individuals for various reasons. A lot of people hate working here but are only staying until the economy improves. Not a paradise place to work (as advertised) and many benefits have been scaled back or cut in whole

    Cons

    micro managed, but not overly so, just always feeling like a child and having someone continually check up on you, HR department does not work with you, some managers do not want to be there, and they reflect it, not a positive culture, if managers have favorite workers they get special treatment while others will be treated unfairly if not special.

    Advice to Management

    don't try to scare people into buying a product, find value within the product offering and go on the positive, don't target old people who will buy into what Montell Williams sells them. Also to HR don't believe rumors of co-workers and fire associates without proper knowledge, this has happened on multiple occasions and all you can do is sit and watch. It's almost like a comedy.
