    Pros

    THERE WERE ABSOLUTELY NO PROS

    Cons

    Unethical practices
    Lack of transparency
    Greed
    Wishy Washy management
Over promising employees and under delivering
    How about NOT GETTING PAID

    Advice to Management

Two weeks after conducting a mass layoff this company shut its doors abruptly, leaving hundreds of employees in the dark with no pay. I worked for this company for less than a year with hopes of a long career with them and the last few months were MISERABLE!!! Constant ups and downs from upper management saying our company was "going to be ok" resulting in a daily, stressful work environment. Constant silly "HOORAY, HOORAH" e mails to push sales associates (like myself) to meet daily monetary goals which were actual cover up's just to get cash flow into the CEO's pocket to make payroll or do whatever he wanted to do with the money since most of us did not get paid. I was offered $ after my lay off and have not received it, and cannot even cash out my 401k money b/c the crazy CEO refuses to go ahead and file bankruptcy, leaving everyone in a sort of "limbo".
Very dated employee operations, lack of communication. Every day at work, everyone was in a poor mood and MISERABLE and I was actually EXTREMELY HAPPY to be done with this company in the end. When someone lies to you everyday, it gets quite old, don't you think?
Oh, and all of you upper management that pretended to care for so many months, all of you pretty much need to disappear.

    Pros

Free Botox or freebees from doctors if your lucky. The doctors for the most part are decent surgeons. That is after they work there for a couple years. Relresenting with a learning surgeon is not fun.

    Cons

Unethical company all they cared about was making money. High pressure to sell. Some doctors Take a lot of risks with patient health bc of high pressure from corporate.

    Pros

If you are lucky enough to have a good team at the local level, the work day is very pleasant. It is rewarding to help people to look their best and take years away from their appearance.

    Cons

Before the company was run into the ground, the management was extremely top heavy with a lot of people making a lot of money, knowing nothing about what they were doing. The only way for a promotion was to be friends with the right people and play the corporate game. Now that the company abruptly shut it's doors last week, all of the employees are out two weeks of pay, plus any PTO they had accumulated. More importantly, thousands of patients are confused and scared about their follow up care after having had a surgical procedure. The drama is like a made for TV movie.

    Advice to Management

Dr. Kent can not be in control of the company.

    Pros

Great doctors great people great work life balance.

    Cons

President and CEO. He thought placing a warm donut case in the offices would generate revenue?

    Advice to Management

CEO and CFO should have spent some of the money on training Leadership and Management. Too much too soon, poor management of liquid assets. However a lot of fast cars, offshore bank accounts, new adventures and business trips. Do your research ask a former employees about the details that this company put us through? Look out for future businesses that claim to do less evasive surgeries.

    Pros

The other consultants that were trying to remain honest and positve in the face of poor management starting from the CEO down.

    Cons

Corporate greed!! The fat cats at the top squeezing tighter and tighter to make more and more money to line their pockets. They honestly did NOT care about patients nor employees.

They did not want consultants with integrity. They wanted you to SELL as though you were a doctor. We should not have been responsible to sell a patient a face lift! That's the doctor's job... they medically trained for it for years!

Deceptive advertising! I'm glad I got out when I did.

    Advice to Management

Management never took advice and that's why their doors are closed now. Great job Higgy!

    Pros

Three years ago the company was doing well. Great salary and commission. The founder made some bad investments and now cannot pay their debt. As a result, the company has had to do lay offs, cannot afford the rent in their many locations nationwide. Most people that are current employees are just waiting for the company to close. The company that once was a great place to work turned into a sinking ship.

    Cons

You have to lie to your patients to get their deposit in full. If they do not read the fine print on the contract. The company may not return 50% of the deposit if they cancel their surgery. It was $3,999 last year and due to the financial deficit of the company. Patients are now paying $9200 for a $5,ooo procedure.

    Advice to Management

Hire managers that can handle the job. This manager had no clue what was going on. Very inexperienced.

    Pros

There are none. The company is having financial problems. lots of loyal employees have lots there jobs.

    Cons

The consultants have to make quotas they are to sell something to every patient that walks through the door no matter what. Most people that come to lifestylelift do not know that it's a facelift. If you are an honest loyal person this is not the company for you.

    Advice to Management

Be honest loyal and compassionate to your patients and employees.Don't fire the consultant because they didn't make your quota. Your believe that everyone that walks though the door wants the lifestyle lift is not accurate you should try being a consultant for month see what obstacles the consultants have to overcom.

    Pros

At the center level, not a bad place to work and very rewarding helping people see their dreams of a more youthful appearance come true.

    Cons

Terrible (understatement!) upper management, a greedy erratic personality at the helm, "Ivory Tower" thinking on the part of the corporate officers, and no regard for employees whatsoever. Staff changes are nearly daily without any obvious rhyme or reason. People/employees are as dispensable as a bag of trash to this company. Lots of false/misleading advertising, and mixed messages galore ("We're in great shape financially" one day, and "in dire straits" the next).

    Advice to Management

Learn to communicate (and proofread before sending anything in writing), value employees and clients/patients, and consider this a people oriented industry, not an assembly line revolving around making the owner a billionaire. The concept may have been innovative years and years ago, but it no longer is.
