    Pros

Very fasted paced, you worked for every cent they paid you. The work is naturally gratifying. Things can be very complex and its a challenge. Come with energy and a positive attitude and you will love it. Leadership was incredible in the Northwest- Idaho, Washington and Oregon. Incredible career and growth opportunities! A bit disappointed that I left, actually.

    Cons

    Low pay, outdated management systems.

    Advice to Management

Increase the amount of employees, decrease the amount of steps it takes to get things done with better tech and less management requirements (reporting). More pressure on the sales reps to preform with better commission structures but LOWER base salary.

    Pros

Meet great people. Build great relationships in the community and learn the DME business.

    Cons

Stretched too thin. Too many products being introduced with a 100% focus and loose track of core business.

    Advice to Management

Need to in crease size of staff at each center. Customer service is effected when staff is stretched too thin and most losses of customers are due to this.

    Pros

Trying hard to change to become more efficient. Wants to stay competitive in the industry. They are willing to listen to what you have to contribute.

    Cons

With the changing they are trying to make the change is a little rocky. It is sometimes crazy and you not very sure of why something is happening till later.

    Pros

Friendly staff, great team work, plenty of overtime, job security

    Cons

Slow computers, always short on equipment, under paid over worked, extremely high stress level.

    Advice to Management

Reward the staff more. Acknowledge what everyone is doing. If goals are met don't dismiss them. Keep in mind that its the people that work at the cwnter level can make or break the location.

    Pros

The work place is very friendly and you like coming into the office.

    Cons

There is no structure to training. You sit around and you do not know where you strand in your training. It is very hard to start making commission because they don't tell you were to go. (hospitals are split up between two sales reps.

    Advice to Management

Have a structured training system for employees when they first start out.

Overall not what I expected. Many long hours and a fight to make any changes to grow your center.

    Pros

They give people a chance to advance within the company, anyone's game to get a management position.

    Cons

Long hours, not enough staff means you are always working your employees and your self to the breaking point leading to high turn over. Many promises are left unfulfilled, billing works against you upsetting many patients. Getting reimbursed for expenses takes a very long time plus low mileage reimbursement.

    Advice to Management

If you want to grow a business, you first have to sustain what you have. By paying thousands upon thousands in OT you are could have easily provided the extra body needed to satisfy current needs, allow for growth, reduce turn over and provide a better work environment for all.

    Pros

Great experience in the medical field and learning the ins and outs of this type of sales.

    Cons

Every office is ran differently. Your manager can basically choose your income potential by choosing what accts you get and what "qualifies" commission.

    Advice to Management

Upper management needs to oversee more of whats going on in the offices ---- especially how territories and commissions managed.

  11. Great entry level sales experience into the medical industry; however, management is not very supportive

    Pros

    - Uncapped commissions (requires detailed follow up to actually get paid)
    - Flexible work schedule
    - Good Entry Level Sales Experience
    - Paid Holidays
    - Minimal Supervision

    Cons

Territory placement can make or break you. This company mandates internal competition within their monopoly, so you are calling on the same accounts, selling the same services, the only true variance is where your center is located. Management is not supportive (starting at the center level and marching all the way up the corporate ladder), they demand results, but can not offer any feedback on solutions to obtain these goals. i came to my manager on multiple occasions to brainstorm on ways to improve my numbers, and the only advice he could ever give was, 'just get out there and sell".

    Advice to Management

Please take the time to not only train your employees but also continue to train and support them throughout their employment. An essential duty of management is to actually manage your employees, not just the business. Take the time to create positive relationships with them and work with them to constantly improve and become the best.
