    There are really no pros. It has really put a bad taste overall

    Cons

    Low pay, no respect from upper mgmt, works all employees to death with no appreciation . Lack of customer service to patients. It's all just a number

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Take care of those at the bottom who help take the company where it is today. Have respect for employees and treat them

    Pros

    If are desperate enough for a job and need experience

    Cons

    Everything, all they are worried about is you making them bigger paychecks by getting a mandatory number if orders per day and if you dont make them they expect you to do overtime to catch up otherwise you get written up even if you have a planned appointment/day off. You get treated like a child and are expected to deal with the disrespect and unprofessionalism from someone who cant even take a supervisor call correctly let alone run the department. You ask a question and you are asked the question right back! I mean if you knew what to do you wouldn't ask right? People take supervisor calls because the real supervisors do not want to talk. People get yelled at and disrespected on the floor in front of others, and if u go to HR they don't do anything about it. Its like being in prison with a careless warden. You hear conversations you shouldn't be hearing in a professional place. They use your vacation time when u miss a day without your permission, they are careless to an emergency and write you up and tell you to plan when you your child are sick or if your gonna have an emergency. WHO SAYS THAT!!! All that goes on there is harassment, unprofessionalism, rudeness & disrespect and you learn to deal with it until you either find a new job or just don't go in the next day. They pick and choose who they like and who they want to pick on. Ive seen it first hand when i was there and that lady they call supervisor needs a reality check or better yet a termination. she cant handle people period always cursing and being a smart mouth to everyone even to a customer and all employees talk about it, other parts of management do her dirty work for her because she doesn't want to do it, i had two final warnings how did that work?. She can cause you an allergic reaction with the amount of whatever it is that she wears, people don't even have to say a name for you to realize who it is, its that bad. They should have an undercover CEO come in and i guarantee that they would realize everything everyone has said about the company is true and they should get rid of the bad to better their company before the management destroys it and it goes further down hill! They have good people there who work and want to enjoy it but the people who are in control are ruining it for the ones who could help make the company grow. And theres no such thing as a holiday off when you are forced to make it up during that week or you get written up! This place is a joke! Glad im gone!!

    Learn about your departments before trying to take control of something you know nothing about! stop being so rude and disrespectful and treating everyone like horse crap, you are not royalty and someone is bound to put you in your place. Its disgusting and unprofessional. If i were CEO of lincare you would be replaced immediately!

    This place is pretty bad. Seek employment here on in desperation, as a put stop to a "real" job.

    Pros

    Being able to be the one person who is courteous to the patients, most of whom are very elderly and deserve your patience and attention.

    Cons

    Poor management. Poor training. Management keeps employees who are very nasty to the patients coworkers simply because they know they'll still make money from Medicare patients who have no option when it comes to choosing DME/HME. Other workers are lazy and very racist against the Hispanic workers. It's very sad.

    Care about your patients enough to administer discipline to those who treat them poorly.

    Pros

    An great learning experience. A good way to get experience in oxygen and DME. Good way to build a network

    Cons

    Bad Management, job description changed after I started. Long hours, out till 11:00 at night on non-emergency calls i.e. O2 set ups. Old tech in office, Whole system inefficient for clients and employees. Company focused on numbers rather than clients. High turn over

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Improve O2 tank inventories at centers. Embrace technology. Get out of Clearwater and visit your centers. Don't leave it to DM's and managers to find out what is really going on

    Pros

    Absolutely nothing except for the coworkers who are all fed up with the same stuff, there is nothing to do but ban together.

    Cons

    Culture and tone at the top is disgraceful! This company has a long way to go if they want to keep good talented employees! Respect is non existent from supervisors/management. No communication within or between departments. Salary employees treated like hourly(more like kindergarteners). You have to swipe in and out of the building and they are always monitoring when you come and go so they can use it against you not to give you the raise you deserve. Quoted from my supervisor "they[VP,Directors,management] are always watching you". Management is spineless, passive aggressive, two faced, unqualified and ignorant. No one in there right mind would stay there and that's why they're going to keep seeing people quit! The work was easy, and that made it boring. No room to advance, all staff employees. They don't want to have to pay you more money! Please do yourself a favor and don't work here, the market is hot right now. Do your research and find a company that values their employees, and rewards hard work and treats you like a professional.HR is clueless or they have a clue and don't care, which is even worse. It is like the wild wild west, I don't see the point in HR when management does, says and acts however they want.

    It's not ok to take advantage of people. Grow a pair, don't get other people to do your dirty work for you and hide in your office!

    Employees master the art of stress management. After the experience working for Lincare, you are given the tools to handle working anywhere.

    Mistreatment by upper management. High turn over, terrible company to work for.

    Do your research before accepting a position with this company.

    Cons

    Training and tools to be successful in hired positions are lacking. There is a high turn over of employees. Upper management has lost sight of the roots of it's business - their employees. An unreasonable amount of responsibilities are placed on limited staff. Low wages and pay.

    I enjoyed working with a couple people in my immediate area.

    Cons

    Promotions are issued based on friendships only, not skill or hard work. Upper management is lacking formal education. Horrible management of product availability.

    Listen to your employees on the front line. I read many reviews and decided to take a chance with Lincare. It was nothing short of a complete waste of a year of my life.
