    I have been working at Little Caesar's full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    -Pay isn't bad if you're working the salaried 50 hours max. Usually it ends up being much more than that.
    -Company does give a lot to charity, and the Love Kitchen is a great thing.
    -Lots of opportunities for promotion.

    Cons

    -Extremely tight labor charts, especially at lower volume stores. Difficult to run the numbers they want.
    -Turnover is high. Employees beg for hours but I can't afford to have them in the store.
    -Quality is expected across the board, yet lots of stores have different equipment (Some worse off than others).
    -Classes take place downtown, which can be difficult for some people to make.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    If you want to bring people in AND keep them, you have the make the job appealing. The pay for crew and assistants is low for the job they are doing, and I can't schedule them over 30 hours. So what incentive do they have to want to stay? I try to keep the environment very light so they won't want to quit, but then I look incompetent to my supervisor and corporate. It's a lose-lose situation.
    In regards to the classes comment above, why not have area specific classes? It's a lot more appealing for a future assistant/co-manager to travel to a store close to them than to go way out of their way.

    Pros

    Good experience with overall friendly people. Learned how to efficiently manage a wide range of people.

    Cons

    Absolutely terrible pay and almost no motive to try to succeed. After spending over a year working extremely hard to try to succeed I was continually given more responsibilities and promised raises that I never received.

    Pay people what they are worth.

    Pros

    Perfect for entry level positions to gain experience in the work force for high schoolers especially in management, very easy to apply and promote. Fast-pace somewhat like a fast-food in that customers service isnt much of a demand but its vauled.

    Cons

    Scheduling is not felxible and cooperation is not up-to-date on technology. Better pay,full-time,insurance, and vacation is not offered unless your in upper management.

    Pros

    I love the people I work with on a daily basis and I love making pizza. My benefits are perfect for what I need. Overall I'm very satisfied with most aspects of my employment here.

    Cons

    A recent shift was made in how our schedule works with upper store management being required to work 10-11 AM shifts until 9-10 PM 5 days a week. This is obviously extremely abnormal in the food industry. We were told by upper office management this is because we in store "are not devoted or invested enough in our work. You need to stop worrying about friends and family and worry more about your paycheck."

    As much as I have loved this job, this was a massive nail in the coffin.

    Work-Life balance is important. A disrespect to that is a disrespect to your employees.

    Pros

    Was a GREAT job for a long time, change of boss makes it unbearable to work. Very stressfull, cant focus On job duties because of so many other projects. No balance between work an personal life.

    Cons

    Unreasonable expectations, unless you work 7 days a week to get everything done

    Realize that your employees, even area supervisors have lives, and family that we need to spend quality time with. Give clear direction and realistic time lines.

    Pros

    It's a pretty basic job. Depending of the store it can be very laid back. It's not very difficult to grasp. Management is pretty easy, only thing I have to do that the crew doesn't is paperwork, which is really easy.

    Cons

    Heat in the summer gets pretty bad. Customers are rude as hell a lot of time. They think the pizza should be top notch for only five dollars, get real. Friday nights are horrible. Random horrible rushes. Depending on the store you do not get paid enough for all the work you do. The boss expects way too much out of us.
