Work at Home- Look No Further...LiveOps is an Excellent Choice. Very Flexible, With Room to Grow!!

    Customer Service Representative (Current Employee)
    West Pittsburg, PA

ProsI Love this company and the freedom. I have been with this company for about 3 years. I began with sales. It was pay with commision. I advanced to a different customer service position (another client). I have been offered another line now, which is also customer service. All together I have sales and customer service lines that I can work (choose from), and I schedule myself in 30 minute increments..The pay is very good, especially compared to other work at home companies. The training is mostly done on your own, but there are also training conferences, and conferences to stay up-to-date on the material. I paid for a background/credit check when I started. I have an Associates Degree and Medical Billing Degree. Bonus pay is often offered, as well as great contests. I love the freedom to choose my own schedule! Job security is pretty good. According to my experience, LiveOps will recognize your dedication & performance, and allows you to Advance from within! I have worked at other work at home companies and have not found them to be as wonderful as LiveOps. The management team at LiveOps (that I have dealt with), has been extremely professional and easy to communicate with. Liveops will give you the tools and a position, then it is up to you how you handle and succeed at that position (as a contractor). I love the amount of opportunities here! This is a company that you can grow your home business with!

ConsThey do not hire in NY and possibly Vermont..

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep up the Good Work!!

    Not concerned about Agents

    Call Center Agent (Current Employee)
    Charlotte, NC

    ProsFlexibility of hours is good
    Prompt payments is great

ConsSomewhat shady with script delivery. Very punitive when it comes to agents not being able to fulfill commits for any reason, or keep up with high sales calls.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop being so rigid and remember that you need agents to run your almost free virtual callcenter. Stop taking advantage of employees just because the economy is bad. Stop hiring more people when you don't have enough work for those of us there.

    Home based telesales

    Direct Response Agent (Current Employee)
    Santa Clara, CA

ProsFlexible working hours with 24 hour options, easy to use for anyone, work from home, etc.

ConsLow pay with no pay guarrantee, pushy scripted sales tactics, slow help via IM, and not enough schedule availability each week.

Advice to Senior ManagementPay a guarranteed minimum wage for hours scheduled to ensure payment for time, speed up the time it takes for Agent Services to respond to questions, create more schedule availability.

Legit company that sells products that are a scam.

Work From Home Customer Service Representative (Current Employee)
    Minneapolis, MN

ProsLiveops is definitely a legit company. I've worked for them for about 2 years and have never had a problem with pay. Liveops indiscriminately sells products and does customer service for many different companies.

Live ops sales products for some legit companies like Pizza Hut and 1-800 FLOWERS. (See cons.)

You can get back to back calls during their busy season if you prove you're reliable and a good sales person.

ConsLiveops does what the company they're selling or doing customer service for hires them to do. So the customer service rep (you) ends up selling a LOT of VERY questionable products and working as an accomplice in many underhanded sales methods. For example, you will be selling books by people who have gone to jail for being con men and giving out fake customer service numbers to customers.

The pay can be ridiculously low. Liveops pays by the minute of talk time.

You can get very few calls during their non-busy seasons and if you arent' the best sales person. I mean like 2 two minute calls an hour. Real talk.

Advice to Senior ManagementYall know what I'm talking about.

Lots of SMART people got out, and many more will follow if things don't get better soon.

    Program Specialist (Current Employee)
    Santa Clarita, CA

    ProsAbility to work from home
    Decent Medical Package
    Matching 401K

ConsOverworked, underpaid, cliques, low morale, disorganization, little direction, constant fires that need to be dealt with, layoffs every quarter, constant changes to supposedly make things better, but they end up only adding to the workload, unprofessional and uneducated managers (I have a degree, and my supervisor does not. I'm actually not even sure how she even has a job at all actually), no hope of advancement, no job security, horrible communication, lack of clear goals, office politics and gossip.

Advice to Senior ManagementFigure out where the company is going and communicate the plan to all of the employees, not just CA employees and Directors, make every employee feel valued, compensate employees more, encourage more interaction between employees in the office and those who work remotely so remote people don't feel so completely cut off and looked down upon. Realize that most of the "Community" department is really unhappy because they feel overworked, unappreciated, and underpaid and are actively seeking employment elsewhere. I don't know one person who is happy. Also, bring back the opportunity to ask anonymous questions at All Hands meetings. Everyone is afraid to ask questions now (if they are actually even given the opportunity).

    I love my job

    Independent Contractor (Current Employee)
    Dunnellon, FL

ProsWork from home eliminates fuel cost, no dress code, schedule in 30 minute increments, talk to people all day long, rewarding work! Bonuses offered.

ConsStart with company has to be sales (infomercials), sometimes the call volume isn't there to support pay, pay per minute rates, independent contractor, no benefits.

Advice to Senior ManagementStart allowing the work from home contractors the ability to advance in the company to become actual employees of LiveOps.

ConsMust work a lot of time to make enough as a sole income

Advice to Senior ManagementPretty decent company all the way around
