I have been working at LiveOps part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Seems legit until you have to pay 65 bucks. And wait, wait, wait.....it's been 4 weeks and there's NOTHING on my credit report and background check so they basically stole from me. I'm thinking if filing a complaint with the bbb on them and that shady background company they use called first advantage.

    Cons

It is a scam, 65 bucks for what?? A con and a scam

I have been working at LiveOps full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good people to work with, good teamwork. New CEO is around a lot and actually talks to the people who do the work (first 6 months of year, I never saw the previous CEO, this one has talked to me more than a couple times). Being in the HQ office, there's lots of little perks (snacks, soda, breakfast twice a week, pizza on Fridays...) Work is challenging and diverse and the immediate future only looks to be more so. Compensation is good, benefits are decent for a company this size.

    Cons

There's a lot of priority switching and redirection. Makes it difficult to manage time (especially when most of workforce is remote some days). There's a lot of talk about learning other things and training for new technologies, but it tends to be for a select few (mainly due to constant high priority deadlines). Enforced PTO at end of year (some of staff is forced to take PTO between Christmas and New Year. Shocked me the first year, it basically cuts 5 days off your PTO)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep it up with the communication, especially the 1-1 (even if it's just "hello"), people are talking. Keep social events, but try to find ways to break up the groups so people actually interact with people from other parts of the office.

    Cons

Some communication gaps (new client on-boarding and changes)

Take the time to do things right the first time
Be open to new ideas from all departments and locations

I have been working at LiveOps full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Not many honestly.

The product is in demand on the platform side- but they just fired everyone from platform as best as i can tell- so not sure what to say there. On the agent side, the product is in demand- but not from infomercial market- which was an important source of revenue in the past.

There's lots of opportunities to take on new responsibilities and work cross functionally- but i found it difficult to complete projects due to lack of resources and constantly changing priorities form the management team.

    Cons

2 different business units and a lack of direction between the two. Junior leadership team especially since the last CEO left the company. Generally negative environment and a constant feeling that something bad was going to happen. Recently, there was a large layoff. So, maybe it just did happen.

Also felt like the leadership team really doesn't respect each other- seemed like they were battling constantly.

Bonuses were rarely paid- so I guess we weren't hitting our targets. Sales leadership was young and, i guess, not performing. Confused as SVP of sales in now interim CEO.

Rumors that the company was always about to be sold off- there are more of those rumors now.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Less rah rah speeches and slogans- more results and cooperation.

New sales leadership and generally new leadership as the current team never got it done.

I have been working at LiveOps full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, potential to earn a lot, a variety of opportunities to sign up for, lots of support, chat help is very nice. The software system you use is online and the best, most organized out there. You don't have to download a bunch of stuff, it's all within one login, which is almost non-existent for work at home companies.

    Cons

Terrible metrics, one bad mark and you lose your good, money-making lines. The commits (hours on schedule) are VERY hard to get, there are a lot of agents that work here and you have to compete with them all at the same time to click on little squares to get your schedule. WAY too many people work for them. No benefits, you are an Independent Contractor. No real room to move up except work more hours. The affinities you sell at the end are very, very fishy. Not sure they are totally legit.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give more changes to low performance. It shouldn't be "one strike and you lose your good lines forever." I tried complaining that there should be a probation period or something, but I guess they have so many agents they don't care.

I have been working at LiveOps as a contractor (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Good pay and flexible work at home options.

    Cons

Easy to lose your contract even though you produce.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If a person has been salespro and top 10% for years then has a bad month and you take the contract away have away to get it back.

    Pros

Working from home picking your own hours and working with customers

    Cons

You pay $65.00 knowing you have a great background to pass background check yet they say you dnt meet guidelines and take your money

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Lower background check if you intend not to hire a person with a great background just to take money

I have been working at LiveOps full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

I have worked for LiveOps for 3 years participating in every opportunity presented to me. We are a fun company to work for, we put in a lot of hard work to make sure that we are the the best that we can be. LiveOps is the most flexible company that I have ever worked for. My cellphone is paid for, I am able to telecommute when needed, the people are awesome, our new CEO is taking this company in a great direction and I am grateful and blessed to work here.

    Cons

I am a team of one and could really use a collaborator or two in my location or a small team of people instead of just myself.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

We work long hours 24x7 and really need more resources. In my previous life, there was was more than one person handling change and problem management, along with notifications and new customer onboarding. I love my job but sometimes I feel like I can't keep up and I let my other team members down.

    Pros

LiveOps is a fun place to work. They reward hard work and positively encourage teams to work towards a common goal. The change in administrative culture is going to help this company propel to success. They are socially responsible and give back to the community in many ways.

    Cons

It can require many hours but the work is well rewarded.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue the new path to success! Full steam ahead.
