A company with big goals never quite achieving at the level it could...

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsPeople. Culture (unique). Office spaces around the world. There is a very cool feel about the place beyond offering free stuff. Very dedicated staff.

ConsThe difficulty of getting new product to market more efficiently. Key leaders are not always aligned. New leaders lack understanding and feel about the importance of how to inspire people. They seem insincere.

Fun place to work - just make sure you know what you want to get out of it or else you may waste a lot of time

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) New York, NY

ProsThe company gives you the room to express yourself and pursue ideas. The culture is fun and loving. The products are good.

ConsConstant strategic shift - lots of employee attrition due to frustration over lack of focus.
Will either get acquired by SAP or similar Goliath or never really take off. (hope I'm wrong as I still work there)

Advice to Senior Management"just focus" and stop changing strategy every six months. Turn the CEO into an executive chairman and hire professionals with actual experience or knowledge.

Constant changes, healthy challenges, tons of potential for vertical growth!

    Account Executive (Current Employee)

ProsHR does a great job of hiring a very divers group of people that are all helpful and willing to work together for the greater goal!..Great platform that is industry leading!

ConsIn a very interesting phase as a company now making strides to really jump to the next level so we have brought in a lot of new people from larger companies that are still learning the "ropes"

Advice to Senior ManagementPut forth a greater effort to promote from within as well as bridge new talent with "veterans"

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Change creates opportunity

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsLivePerson empowers its employees to be owners, work with great people and customers, and to grow professionally. LivePerson is not satisfied being an average or even an above average performing company, LP strives to be outstanding.

ConsThe goals at LP are to become an outstanding company. This means high expectations and rapid growth, inevitably there are going to be many changes. These changes can be disruptive in the short term and if you are not prepared for a long term tenure at LivePerson with change, then you may find it difficult to adapt.

Advice to Senior ManagementWhile it is healthy to get fresh perspectives with new external hires, especially at the executive and management level, there is plenty of talent within LP's ranks that should be utilized. Different isnt always better.

    Great culture and great products

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsLIvePerson has a great culture grounded in the core values of helping others and being an owner. In particular I like the fact that LP tasks everyone with being a leader within the company. Also, LP invests in supporting a remote work force, enabling them to have such a great culture across many locations.

ConsLivePerson could benefit from a little more organization of it's infrastructure than what's it's currently using.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep pushing forward to the next step for the company. And continue making all employees a major part of that step.

Great place to work at, allowed me to grow and learn

Success Manager (Former Employee) Raanana (Israel)

ProsAmazing people, great place to learn and grow, great opportunity to get into the hightech world. Time off policy is quite good. The office culture is amazing, help people and take ownership are very important values.
Benefits are also good and the offices look great!

ConsLeadership is not so great, there are peolpe with very big egos, but the company tries very hard to get rid of those who are not right to lead.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep up the good work, allow people from within to move up and keep presenting employees with challenges.

    Enjoyed the journey

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

Proscareer progression, innovative company, great working environment, good salary, great people

Conspolitical, changes need more focus to see through to fruition, lost a few too many A players

Advice to Senior ManagementLiveperson seems to currently be stuck in a dichotomy of community versus big corporation. Better plan and communicate your moves - appear more transparent.

A good place to work at

    Unspecified (Current Employee) Raanana (Israel)

    ProsGood people.
    A sense of ownership.

    ConsToo many legacy systems.
The decision on which features are added to the product should be based on a vision and less on a specific customer needs.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet rid of the legacy systems. Base the new product on your vision and less on a specific customer needs.
