Manage small accounts, assist RM in big accounts. Pretty much to the dirty work for the assigned RM.

Current

Pros – Young energetic crowd mainly. Flexible with time off.

Cons – RM against RM all thinking they are IT.
Front Office turnover, to much.
Upper Management is always changing the rules.

Advice to Senior Management – Set the rules and stick to them, at least for more than a month!

Excellent

Current

Pros – Huge international company with 300.000 employees and offices accross the world --> many opportunities to evolve
Great branding, Lloyds' name is excellent

Cons – Lack of organisation, communication is often not efficient, people are so proud to work for Lloyds that the level of turnaround is very low --> lack of experience from other companies.

Advice to Senior Management – Promote internal mobility, improve communication, work on cross departmental communication to ensure smooth evolution of projects.
Apart of that, Lloyds' is a great place to work

Problem with this review?

Good structured placement with fair pay.

Former

Pros – Good friendly relaxed work environment. Excellent development opportunities and good feedback from management regarding work. As an industrial placement student the pay was slightly above par with other company's. The industrial placement scheme itself was well run and structured. It had clear goals and allowed students to develop and also gain additional skills which would then become useful for returning to university.

Cons – Unsure job future due to the large amount of off shoring going on in the IT areas of the company. Some areas of the business could so with some new fresh ideas. IT placements and graduates were reduced due to offshoring so less opportunities for new staff to come in.

Advice to Senior Management – Work on developing internal staff rather than sending too much work overseas. Bringing in fresh ideas from graduates will drive the business forward.
