    Pros

More PTO than one could use, closed but paid over Christmas, fair medical insurance

    Cons

Disorganized, poor management, lack of leadership and support, dismal financial outlook.

    Advice to Management

You talk the talk but don't walk the walk. Take a look around at your employees who want to be there for all the right reasons and weed out the ones who don't instead of laying off those in higher pay brackets. A penny saved is not always in a companies best interest.

    Pros

With Sonifi running this Company can think of one thing.

    Cons

LodgeNet was a great company. They where doing good in a Stock a Market, they had happy customers and employees, then they bought On Comand and all there problems. The stock disappear and they lay off . I was lay off, then I was brought back because a Tech relocated. Then Sinofi took over and once again I was lay off. They have a rule twice lay off you can not came back. The Tech left behind where striped of there accumulated sick time. There Field Service are the company bread and butter. If the Hotel does not get service they move on to another company. Tech's are the front personal that have to deal with Hotel GM's and Chief Engineer. You have to be on call for a week. You get called PM you have to go out. West Coast, WPB to to three hours drive. No OT. They will ask you to leave early or take off Friday.

    Advice to Management

Learn from SW A/L. There CEO has a motto "I take care of my Employees they will take care of the customers".

The salary don't match the work being done presenting mental stress.

    Pros

Many very nice individuals to work with but archaic process and proceedures throughout.Their stock took a nose dive and they nearly hit bottom so they did layoffs and flattened their structure eliminating many managers. I am sure this left a mountain of work for those they kept. It seems like sometimes there are 10 departments doing the same thing at this company and that they don't communicate well with each other. Overall there is potential and their CEO is a warm personality but there is a sense that they need to grow and challenge themselves more. Innovation is not as great here as you'd expect. It seems like people just want to collect their checks and get about the weekend activities. I'll cross my fingers and hope I'm wrong because these are some very lovable people at this company but I think LodgeNet has a short future due to financial issues and lack of innovation and market penetration.

    Cons

Constantly seeing other products and services offered elsewhere that are cheaper and better than your own. Dodging the questions from relatives about the content that LodgeNet makes its money from.

    Advice to Management

Adapt or perish, as they say. I hope LodgeNet learns to adapt quickly, and soon. Stop viewing expensive re-branding as the key to your problems and focus on some actual innovation.

    I worked at LodgeNet full-time

    Pros

They launched a mobile app that is good.

    Cons

They have no vision. They make their money on in hotel room movie rentals including porn. Apparently nobody over there ever heard of the internet!!! Their revenus keep falling and they have no idea how to fix it.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to work together will all departments. Everyone cares only for themselves and no one sees the big picture. Management need to get their hands dirty and some actual work instead of sitting behind their desk on internal BS Calls.
