Pros – -Direct management is very supportive
-Atlanta office has very sharp technical staff
-Atlanta office technical people have a "dotcom" vibe- call center especially
-Convenient location at 285 and 75. You can walk to some local restaurants.
Cons – -Sioux Falls office not very technical.
-Communication between SF and Atlanta not very good.
-Limited advancement opportunities in Atlanta.
-Low pay
Advice to Senior Management – -SF management should spend more time in Atlanta. Much more time.

Current Employee – been working at LodgeNet
Pros – good location-- Sioux Falls is a good place to live and raise children
intelligent co-workers who are alert and engaged
technologically strong-- company is able to develop and build strong software solutions
Cons – Sales group has a poor grasp of selling to customer needs
Company is slow to adapt to changing entertainment market and consumer trends
Company culture is heavily biased towards the way we always have done things
Advice to Senior Management – Develop a plan for responding to changing entertainment market
Find a sales team that sell when it costs the customer something
Find a way to offer hotels a way to differentiate their technology and entertainment offers

Pros – Great work life balance, barely any overtimes.
People are all very nice and welcoming to questions.
employee cafeteria that changes menu every day
Cons – location is the biggest drawback
Advice to Senior Management – Cut out the bureaucracy and try to enhance communication and collaboration between different business operations and departments.
Value suggestions and extra efforts made by your employee.
