    Pros

great office space downtown, generous with lunches, snacks, coffee

    Cons

new sales management unwilling to learn about the market, meet customers, adopt innovative sales techniques and thinking....all about outbound calls...lazy management

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

re-evaluate the comp structure...not competitive in the market

I have been working at LogMeIn full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great environment that is built on a foundation of great people which makes the company tolerable.... however it can only last so long.

    Cons

Don't expect to pay off a mortgage
They give their sales reps the lowest wages in the area
Company down the street already recruited a few of the top reps and others are beginning to target logmein sales reps for jobs

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay your employees before they leave for much better pay down the street

    I worked at LogMeIn

    Pros

    Got to travel the world
    Good experience in SaaS products

    Cons

    Never rewarded for good work
Never received recognition for closing large deals
Management by committee. Because they were close knit, managers became managers out of friendship, not merit

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

None. I feel that Mike Simon, Marton and some others truly do a great job, its the middle management that needs the work..

I have been working at LogMeIn full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Easy to get in
    - Great reputation
    - Salary and perks are above average, but not stellar
    - One of the best places if all you care about is technology & personal development

    Cons

    - This has been the most disappointing experience ever: the team I was on was sexist, racist and homophobic - which is rather controversial considering the fact LogMeIn is participating in a tolerance campaign ("We are open").
    - I interviewed for two different teams, but somehow the Vice Presidents were both jerks
    - Very long office hours, I saw people stay in till 8 pm every day (office hours are stupid: 10 am to 6:30 pm)
    - Too many occasions when you are disrupted during your daily tasks

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Probably it's worth trying to get the corporate values across individual teams

I worked at LogMeIn full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Very innovative, cutting edge technologies, annual kickoffs, great benefits, some really good professionals, the company sometimes offers free beer, and it can be a good place to learn.

    Cons

Everything depends whom you win as your manager, and where do you get a place in the office, and it's a gambling.
The Budapest office is beautiful if you just for a visit but it has two sides, the old one what is pretty good and the new one where working is a tragedy: you can not open the windows, feels like a terrarium especially when the summer temperature is close to 40 C°.
If you're a lucky man, you can build a carreer, learn and go home when your working time is over and you can have a nice working environment.
Other case you going to be stressed even if you work as best as you can, overtime became to your daily routine and you can forget your private life.
The salary depends only on your negotiantion skills: for the same position there was 4x (!) difference between two employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Middle management should be reviewed, that's the bottleneck.

I have been working at LogMeIn

    Pros

Products are ok, but i dont have much insight into that as they are made in our foreign outsourced offices, and they do get used a lot by our customers, mostly because they are free.

Office environment is nice and they offer flexible hours which is always good.

Friday beers and CFO selling his red socks tickets regularly is ok, not much of a perk, but i am not complaining, but i would much rather have them match 401(k) though.

    Cons

Lots of politics and friendships in management of mostly Symantec buddies.

People trying to consolidate their positions and grab on to power than doing their job is primary motive of most of management team.

Moving to Boston with a workforce predominantly of north shore, maybe management doesn't care and want to get new people in the door, but it is not right to make your employees life miserable by increasing their commute by couple of hours each day.

    Benefits are below industry average.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I am sure they know what they are doing. Maybe they need to pay little more attention to stock price and get it higher by not offering every single thing for free.
