Current Employee – been working at Loomis Fargo & Co.
Pros – job is relatively close to the house making it a short drive to work. New to the company so obviously there is the early motivation in the hopes of moving up. So far there have been no issues,...so far so good!
Cons – The pay can definitely be better, especially compared to the competitors. Also, I believe that pay should be based on performance instead of time in service and some of the other methods of paying employees. There are are several small issues but nothing to serious.
Advice to Senior Management – It is very important to treat all employees equally, It is understood that time in service leading to senority is vital but not in every single situation. For example, someone can be with a company for 8 years but has no ambitions to move up the ladder whereas an employee of 2 years has been humping to move up. Once again, performance based salaries!

Former Employee – worked at Loomis Fargo & Co.
Pros – There is an overall feeling that you are being productive. You are given the freedom to make decisions on your own.
Cons – Extremely demanding on time. Days averaged 12 hours, and more. You were on call 24/7 and usually got at least one call from corporate on the weekends. You could never reach corporate if you needed to call them back.
Advice to Senior Management – Our CEO of the US needs to take a hard look at his "district vice-presidents." More than a couple are lacking people skills. Stop MAKING your employees work the ridiculous hours, and show them that you care about something other than the Swedish krona the stock is trading at.

Current Employee – been working at Loomis Fargo & Co.
Pros – Work is fairly easy once you are trained and get the hang of it. Had good teamwork among coworkers. Decent benefits and yearly raises.
Cons – Chronically understaffed and this is coming from someone that's been there over 5 years. Because you're understaffed you end up working into overtime everyday and cannot leave until ALL the work is done, no matter how much. So give up having a family or social life if you work here.
Advice to Senior Management – Work harder at getting adequate staffing, especially if you are already understaffed and plan to pick up some new business or customers.
