    High paced work environment!

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsIf you like to smile, do well in your duties, then you will rapidly move up ladder.

ConsThe stores could use more production hours as some employees are stretched thin.

Advice to Senior ManagementRemember the employees that have worked their way up the ladder know all aspects of the job, and that they have a family too.

    I enjoy working at Love's!!!

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThe management there is great, and so are the current employees. Lots of hours available to work, and they really do care about your "family time".

ConsNot enough staff, lots of people call in for various reasons and seems very difficult to find others willing to cover extra shifts.

    Great company... HARD WORK!!!

    Tire Manager (Current Employee)

ProsProfit sharing, keeps you busy and on your toes. Upper management is friendly.

ConsMore employees are needed. Either pay mangers a lot more or get more help. Turnover will be on the rise as we have already seen in the past year. 65-75 hrs/ week is too much for a shop manager. They are making less than techs (hourly) in some cases. This is not undertrained employees. It is understaffed shops.

Great Company, People - IT Too Bogged Down in "Process Dogma" and Red Tape

Programmer/Developer (Current Employee) Oklahoma City, OK

ProsFast growing, profitable company. Good people and work atmosphere.

ConsRapid growth has led to some frustrating changes in IT processes and project management. It takes far too long for a simple change request from the business to be fulfilled because of adherence to recently established dogmas within the culture.

Advice to Senior ManagementFind a way to empower the IT department and software development team to get things done quickly rather than coming up with more red tape that ultimately slow things down. You're not producing software for sale to third-parties in which rigid quality controls make more sense.

growing company. good chance for advancement

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsGood pay and benefits. Mostly day time hours. Good training. Family owned business that also has a profit sharing program.

ConsNot allowed enough labor hours to give excellent customer service. Expectations can be overwhelming. Loves is starting to get rid of long term managers that are getting yearly profit sharing. appears to be a cost saving ploy.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to your employees.
They know what is going on in the stores.
