    I have been working at Lufthansa full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good health benefits, supportive team, does not easily fire people, lots of lateral movement positions, job security is relatively good

    Cons

    Very German oriented, low salaries, company morale is low, no union, overly process-oriented, extremely bureaucratic, big company so things don't change easily, constant cost cutting measures, this position has a payback clause requiring you to stay for at least 2 years or "reimburse" the company for expenses. The amount varies but is generally under 10K or exempt in certain countries.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be more international and less bureaucratic. Include your overseas employees in more company communication.

    I have been working at Lufthansa full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    Multinational company with German Brand meaning respect and value in job market. One of the leaders in Aviation industry.

    Cons

    Low salary, no increaments and rare bonus for employees. No carrier advancement or only if you are liked by bosses not due to your hard work but because of relegion, race and nationality. Emplyee benefits are different for employees in Germany and Europe than other parts of the world. No job securuty due to current situation.

    Should read what is written on the wall!

    Es war super, aber jetzt ist es nur ein annehmbarer Job. It was great but is now an accebtable job.

    Man bekommt gute Vergünstigungen, wie billige Flüge

    You have good benefits like cheap flights

    Cons

    Viel Druck, schlechte Arbeitsatmosphäre, man fühlt sich wie eine Nummer, nicht wie ein menschliches Wesen, und es hat den Anschein, als ob alles unternommen würde, damit man kündigt.

    A lot of pressure,bad working climate,you really feel like a number not as a human being and it seems like it is done everything to make you quit the job!

    Aufzusteigen ist schwierig. Es gibt viel Bürokratie und die Bezahlung ist nicht sehr gut, eher durchschnittlich, würde ich sagen.

    Super Arbeitsplatz, um Erfahrungen zu sammeln. Schlechter Arbeitsplatz, wenn man Karriere machen will. Great place to gather experience. Bad place to make a career.

Rekrutierung von Führungskräften ist nicht transparent.

    Das obere Management muss die Kultur dieses Unternehmens vollkommen verändern. Sollte sich auf die Erträge konzentrieren und nicht auf Einsparung von Kosten. Sollte sich auf Innovation anstatt auf Verantwortlichkeiten fokussieren.

    Senior management has too completely change the culture of the company. Focus on revenue instead of cost reduction. Focus on innovation rather than accountability.
