Great benefits, very structured and organized. I worked for here for 5years met great people and the Doctors are truly passionate about what they do!

    Cons

Do research on departments before you accept some departments have poor management. It's more of who you know rather than your qualifications for jobs be mindful of this.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management needs to cleaned up at MD some managers are not at all qualified to be managers. The best manage I had retired and I left the department.

    Pros

Provides extremely high quality care to patients, and the majority of employees take pride in their work and mission. The opportunities for contributing to research and patient care are unparalleled.

MDACC is a very large cancer center and for some that can be overwhelming. As an employee, it may be difficult to stand out.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

While MDACC remains an outstanding cancer center, the recent negative media attention has tarnished MDACC's reputation in the community and academia.
