Horrible company to work for if you are in sales!

Director of Business Development (Former Employee)
    Los Angeles, CA

ProsSalary and benefits are decent. Financial backing from their venture capital firm is solid and invests well into the company. We will have to see how long this will last.

ConsHorrible working environment in the Gardena office. Everyone gossips on each other and it is freely accepted in this office. Management is only concerned about themselves and has no respect for sales people. They are only interested in your database of customers that you add in CRM. The venture capital firm will eventually be flip this company to make a profit.

Advice to Senior ManagementHuman Resources needs to step in and stop the gossiping in their offices. It brings down morale and harbors a very hostile working environment.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Limited opportunity for growth

    Transportation Planner (Former Employee)
    Bolingbrook, IL

ProsAbility to work for a well known orginazation, had the opportunity to acquire new skills and knowledge to transition into another company.

ConsInexperienced Managers, limited potential for growth, and poor compensation packages

Advice to Senior ManagementRespect employee's, improve employee morale, and promote from within.

it is getting worse the longer i'm there.

    Driver/Dock Worker (Current Employee)

Prosthere is no good reason to work there, maybe just having a job.

Consthey don't care about you and your life and there are all ways trying to write you up for something and fire you. they keep taking away from us. so you feel like your nothing and you don't care about the company anymore and don't want to be there.

Advice to Senior Managementget rid of most upper management and even some local people. work with your employees instead of trying to make them miserable.

YRC Logistics is in growth mode??

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThe company just cut ties with YRCW for $34 Million. The plan is to be worth $3 Billion in 3 years. They are currently speaking about moving towards growth mode.

ConsLeadership lacks credibility. We are losing some of our best employees because the company is offering very little salary and benefits for the work that is expected. The company is in growth mode, but the employees are not. You can expect to be underpaid and overworked at YRC Logistics.

Advice to Senior ManagementStart by giving they employees you have left, 10% pay increases. Encourage and supplement employees so they can learn something and bring it back to the company. Hire some key players that are knowledgeable and have a proven track record (I don't mean hiring your best buddy you were friends with back-in-the-day at Fritz companies, etc.).
