    Pros

from what i hear, the discount is great on top whatever sales that is going on (never used it personally though, macy's isn't my style)

    Cons

you basically do everything: recover, clean out dressing rooms, ring up/help customers, and do go backs (very stressful especially when its busy so the clothes keep piling up) sometimes you were left alone with a huge line of angry customers

    Advice to Management

hire more people! dont get mad when we cant find time cleaning a certain area when we're busy dealing with so many customers!

    Pros

Great Employee Discount Teaches good customer service Flexible Scheduling which is great if you're a student Fast paced environment

    Cons

Management is horrible. I had to take a leave of absence and they weren't clear about what they wanted from me in terms of doctors notes. After coming back to work, they sent me a letter telling me I had not returned to work in two months and when I called about the letter, they told me that they lost all my doctor's notes.

    Pros

Flexible hours, sometimes. Getting to meet new people and getting to know where all of the good clearance items are.

    Cons

You are way over worked and under paid. The management is less the desirable some times and NEVER work in the shoe department. The ladies are paid on commission of sales... they can get really nasty really fast. You meet great people, but some.. not so much. The human population is crazy. Avoid black friday like the plague.

    Advice to Management

Try to be nicer to your seasonals, we are just thrown in the pot.
