    CYB MFLC

CYB MFLC (Current Employee) Virginia Beach, VA

ProsFlexible schedule and not micro managed. Good pay and great benefits.

ConsNo raises and everyone starts at the same pay regardless of experience or time with company. Disorganized when handling assignments whether in the US or Overseas.

Advice to Senior ManagementOffer salary variations and give raises to returning MFLC's. Consider loan repayment options for your LPC, and LCSW's. Try offering bonuses or incentives.

    Overall, had very positive experiences

    EAP Consultant (Former Employee)

ProsThe company has multiple divisions and the experience I had in my division was quite positive.

ConsMagellan's silos are on different planets and one has no concept what is really going on in the other silo.Overall, the benefits were okay but not the best.

Advice to Senior ManagementBreak down the silos and work on keeping talent management.

Nice place to work for, employer motivation is unity.

PA Assistance Coordinator (Current Employee) Harrisburg, PA

ProsI like the benefits, and how supervisor work with you, also like the monthly meetings so that everyone can be on the same pages.

ConsNo overtime, I do not have this in my department, and the fact that you get paid Semi Monthly.

Advice to Senior ManagementTo fight for higher raises for your employees who work so hard to make things happen.

Very strict on timeliness, compensation is good, the PTO given annually is great, and management does not micromanage.

Customer Service Specialist (Current Employee) Maryland Heights, MO

    ProsGood pay
    Good benefits
If you work hard you can grow with the company

ConsIf you want to be patted on the back all the time and like to be micro managed this is not the place for you.
Also favoritism comes into play but that is true for most of Corporate America. Three people in my department received compliments from customers that management did not acknowledge though most managers at the company make a big deal out of that. It is a call center so it can get loud at times and the environment can seem unprofessional depending on where you work and what the side bar conversations are.

Good company that needs to spend money on technology upgrades

    Networks (Former Employee) Phoenix, AZ

ProsTheir HR and employee benefits, are really good and they follow through on their commitments to bonuses, etc.. Culture depends on the direct manager your work for--overall, I really enjoyed my time there, after the transition was over (took about a year).

ConsNeed to upgrade technologies to provide tools that are more user friendly and searchable.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou must spend to grow.

Learning about health care and the importance of the right provider for the patient as well as for the family.

Support Specialist I (Former Employee) Parsippany, NJ

ProsTeamwork is very important as well as learning more of the services the company provided and the opportunity to learn more in order to advance within the company.

ConsLoud noises sometimes acquired by co-workers not realizing they were in a restricted area; poor apparel for a professional environment and of course the day I left the company.

Advice to Senior ManagementGetting much closer to the employees. Understanding their needs when they have family they have to take care of especially single parents.

    Nice place to work

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Phoenix, AZ

ProsA nice place to work. They allow some work at home opportunities. Most people are very nice and ethical. They pay well.

ConsCall center environment, still better then most. They close down main break room for big meetings, inconvenient for those that use it.

Advice to Senior ManagementFind more ways to help motivate and lift morale.

Challenging environment with opportunities for advancement for dedicated employees

Management (Current Employee) Saint Louis, MO

ProsExcellent PTO and benefits, challenging environment, great colleagues. Company has a good strategy for growth if they can execute it. Has lots of capital available for strategic purchases to support growth initiativies.

ConsVery tight budgets with too frequent layoffs. IT backbone (I-Series) is dated and company is hesitant to risk a replacement and prefers to patch it rather than fix it.

Advice to Senior ManagementFind ways to move employees around company without showing talented associates the door. Senior management is getting too top heavy again and that impacts the company's ability to hire staff to actually service the customer contracts. Seriously consider new Clinical/Network/Claims system to bring company into the 21st century. If that is done well, desired staff reductions (reduced admin costs) could occur without business impact, in fact, service should improve. Spend some of the available cash to fund this!
