ProsOn one hand it is a growing force in the IT Outsourcing industry. Has been showing good growth. Part of a good group of companies - The Mahindra Group.

ConsHas just gone through a merger with Tech Mahindra. Need to overcome the bad fallout of the Satyam Scandal.

Not as good as Old Satyam Computers

Senior Project Manager (Current Employee) Houston, TX

ProsUnique and more growth opportunities for new talent. Options to take higher role and management supports such initiatives.

ConsNot a good pay master, management is more focused on investor's delight instead of associates. Cost cutting at all the corners instead of investment for long term sustainability.

Advice to Senior ManagementStart looking into talent retention. Associates expect a lot from the new management on associate delight (including monitory benefits) but nothing much is happening. Company needs a lot of investment on associates, solutions and capability building.

Reliable company with several clients, opportunities are there but you need to look out for them.

    Software Engineer (Current Employee)

ProsCompany is very stable, there are lots of opportunities to work with great clients in various countries, Also once you have proven your worth and are in the eyes of the management, it is easier to carve your career path. You can switch between projects and take up new roles.

ConsEven though there are opportunities, you need to be proactive and develop network to use the opportunity. Compensation varies on various factors.

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement has a broad perspective but more empowerment of middle layer employees is needed.
