  1. Tragic, a potentially remarkable and game changing product in Afrezza, but ignorance and arrogance has tanked us.

    Pros

Great ground level personnel, and a truly facinating potential product. Good life work balance and pay is about market.

    Cons

Arrogant and ignorant Senior Management. The culture is also very "blame centric". In order for you to do well, someone has to do something bad. Very CYA attitudes and much backstabbing. Extreme paranoid silo mentality as well.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the Product application team that has failed twice now to gain approval for afrezza. Their arrogance and ignorance of the FDA has cost MNKD millions of dollars, years of market and the loss of literally hundreds of mostly excellent employees.

    Pros

flexible working schedule only due to the existing reporting structure. There is some amazing science with some very strong intellectual properties.

    Cons

No work life balance, and very little respect for the scientific individuals. The mentality is very "big pharma" despite the lack of resources, and lack of personnel.

    Advice to Management

There is currently no incentive for individuals, and for many there is no viable professional development despite the amazing talent and potential in many.
