I have been working at Manpower (Less than a year)

    Pros

Best part is assisting others in finding employment. Not an easy process so it feels good when it happens.

    Cons

Lack of communication from management, poor pay, cliques within the office; where do I begin. Even though you are asked to perform at a level superior to your current pay grade, there is no benefit from doing so.

    Advice to Management

    Better communication and incentive program.

I have been working at Manpower (Less than a year)

    Pros

When you get a job through them its usually very good. I went through Manpower and got a decent job, although it was only temporary

    Cons

The usually only have a job in your field once every 3 to 4 months. Dont bother going by there every day.

    Advice to Management

Seek out more job opportunities for potential employees.

    Pros

some in the position I was supposed to work... Worked really hard with this company within Owings Mills, MD

    Cons

I over heard one of their associates working in the job be extremely violent and threaten another employee, which I was completely COMPLETELY FLOORED WHEN i HEARD it.

    Advice to Management

Follow up with their associates. Check on their progress and how they are doing.

I have been working at Manpower as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Working 3rd shift, 11-7, is convenient for me. The rotating schedule is also a plus. I have time during the day to do the things I need to do without the rush.

    Cons

Pay should be more. For the amount of time we're on our feet, the shift we work, and the type of work we do, the pay definitely should be higher.

    Advice to Management

    Raise the pay.

I worked at Manpower full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    locations were convenient for commute

    Cons

This company says they are family owned and treat employees like family. That only applies if your family actually owns the company. This was one of the most unprofessional environments I have ever worked in. The turnover is very high. Beware!
