    Pros

Employed, time 1/2 / DOUBLE TIME

    Cons

7 days will take a toll on any BODY!!!

    Advice to Management

We are human beings, no machines. They have maintenance in the building to fix the machines, who is there for when we break down. Take peoples time and health in consideration.

I worked at Manpower (More than a year)

    Pros

I have held many positions including Dispatching and A/R which included doing the purchasing Manufacturing products, which allowed me to develop many valuable skills My hard-working attitude and willingness to learn will be well suited to the position of Purchasing Coordinator at PPG Aerospace Be advised, I will work hard to become the best you have ever seen. So give me a chance and allow me to impress you in an interview. I thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.

    Cons

That I really liked the job and was hoping it would last forever. It was suppose to have been a 3 month but they were able to let me stay 14 months.

    Advice to Management

I would advise them to work harder to keep the good employees and weed out the ones that need to be exchanged

    Pros

Self starter, fast paced, good PTO

    Cons

Pays lower than competitors, PTO doesn't carry over nor is payed out and is on an accrual basis, health insurance is expensive, annual review is 1 or 2 percent of scary even if minim wage raises at a much higher rate than your bonus so it's really not a bonus, some managers micro manage

    Advice to Management

Let staff selanage, increase pay or raise amount

    Pros

Job security. I don't feel as though my job will be in jeopardy due to lack of work.

    Cons

This is now an employee's job market. We tell our clients this, yet Manpower forgets this. There are no real job perks. We have nothing in our offices as far as "creature comforts" go. We even pay for certain office supplies out of pocket! I was told that there used to be a company party every year. I have yet to see that. Manpower barely acknowledged Christmas. Also, several branches that I know of have some dead weight office members. They might have some redeeming qualities, but the cons outweigh the pros. As the old saying goes: "a chain is only as strong as its weakest link" so either try to teach an old dog some new tricks, or send the dead weight packing and get more competent office staff!! Look, I'm not asking for a company car and a stay at a 5 star hotel after a company party. I just want my management to spend some money on their employees (hello!! The PROFIT CENTERS!! We pay your bills, remember?) every once in awhile and maybe some of those offices that could use a facelift get some attention as well.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees, Manpower!!

    Pros

The Pros are, getting exposed to various assignments thus gaining experience. And Manpower pay scale is good $9.00-$14.00 an hour 0n various scheduled assignments. On the seasonal convention shows they will give you great worth while hours abundants of work. The recruiters work hard to place you on assignment and they are professional, polite, courteous, and willing to help they seem to care. I personally like the team effort and ethics to satisfy the client with integrity, and "plain old, roll up the sleeves", quality hard work. which they convey to us by the Leads in the field or show.

    Cons

The Cons are, the need to have more scheduled assignments each week. Currently the scheduling is roughly 3-8 assignment days a month. Maybe they can improve on this and assign more days maybe 12-14 days a month.

    Advice to Management

Have the opportunity to obtain longer termed assignment. I realize that the client may only want a certain limited minimuim hours or days assign; however matching up schedules to extended hours/days with other multiple clients would be more helpful. Not that you don't do this, but to just do it more.
