    Pros

I really liked working for this company, and wish I could continue to do so, but since I've gotten my degree I'd like to see where that leads me.
The managers were always wonderful, and my coworkers were mostly lovely to be around. Really an exceptional company to work for.

    Cons

It's a retail job. You get what you expect from the customers. That is to say that 80% are wonderful people, but you still have to deal with the 20% that make you want to just go home and cry, whether it's because of how they treat you or because they have no regard for how they conduct themselves in public and are totally okay with trashing a public space without a second thought.

    Advice to Management

Revise your return policy to be no return no receipt. I think the majority of the theft I saw happened because people could walk out of the door with merchandise and then be able to return it the next day for store credit. It didn't help that it took YEARS to build up cases to prosecute career shoplifters, who in the mean time could steal thousands of dollars from the company.
Also, put a time limit on returns. It is silly the number of times people would want to return things from over a year ago because they found something while clearing their closets.

    Pros

Good company and great people. The managers were really nice but at times weren't really helpful. You get really good discounts and if your into fashion this store would be great for you.

    Cons

Not a whole lot of pay. It's a whole lot of work just for minimum wage. Sometimes the manager were never really helpful, because it is an independent job. They were really strict about keeping everything in order.

    Pros

Arranged garments according to departments and handed out ticket to customers in busy fitting rooms with a friendly and courteous attitude. Tracked garments and handled ticket inventory.

    Cons

Pulled out return merchandise from the service desk and brought it into the fitting room.
Hanged garments according to departments on a tall rolling rack.

    Advice to Management

Make sure that during all times of the shifts the fitting rooms were all neat and clean. Call Management for spills.

    Pros

If you are just starting a career in the realm of retail, then this place is for you. They are flexible with hours, so if you are still attending school, they will work with you. If you are hungry to grow up in the company they will support that as well as long as you show promise. If working full time, they offer pretty decent benefits too.

    Cons

If working in a customer service position (cashier, management, sales floor associate), having patience is a must and absolutely necessary. Having a positive outlook is a benefit too because if you happen to be a negative person, this place will drain you.

    Pros

I love the merchandising freedoms and the products the company purchases. My fellow staff is amazing and the management team is great.

    Cons

The discount is small. Compared to many other retail companies ours is always the smallest. But with the already low merchandise prices it is understandable.

The work system for merchandise to be out out and taken in was wonderful. I am currently at Dollar General and dislike the lack of organization.

    Cons

Not being able to stop thieves.

    Pros

A solid company to work for that believes in promoting from within. Corporate Executives truly believe in their employees all the way to the associate at store level. Fast paced with always something to do.

    Cons

You will need to accomplish a significant amount while working with a very tight payroll.

    Advice to Management

Go back to hiring sales associates at a slightly hire level than minimum wage as this gave the store levels a strong pole of promotable talent while keeping turnover at a lower level.

    Pros

Flexible schedule and 10 percent employee discount. The work is pretty easy and the people are nice. You get to build your resume

    Cons

The pay was terrible. You have to work "retail hours" which means sometimes you have to come in early 6am or leave very late 10pm. Plus you work holidays

    Advice to Management

There's no advancement within the company. You will stay a sales associate your entire time working there unless you kiss butt
