Great training program. Good experienced Advisors willing to work with you and help you to get your business started. Competitive products.

    Cons

Being 100% commission is daunting but ultimately they believe that it will motivate you to earn and learn faster. It also creates extra pressure of not making money for awhile possibly .

I have been working at MassMutual full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The agency I worked in had a great culture. It felt like a family; everyone is going through the same thing when you start out in the position. It is not easy but if you work hard, you will succeed.

You have the flexibility to do as you wish as long as you produce and hit numbers. You could theoretically take 6 months off if you hit your numbers in the first six months (but then who wants to loose out on the potential to make more money for the next six months of the year!?)

    Cons

Difficult to manage learning everything you need to learn, as well as going out and finding clients.

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at MassMutual full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Great Training Program
    Solid Company
    Great Values and Ethics
Alot of products and services to offer the clients
    No Cap on earning potential
GA and Assistant GA are Fabulous

    Cons

No very well known here in CA. Very well known on the East Coast; name recognition and more advertising is needed. Would have been better if a new person to the business join a year after they are in the business not NEW....too hard to get traction and the programs don't give you enough time to get your book off the ground.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
