    Don't expect communication

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThey are connected with great organizations.

ConsSpecifically regarding the Healthcare Staffing office in PA: Expect to randomly know salary ranges for positions off the top of your head, because they aren't going to tell you a range, and most likely let you agree to a lower salary so they can keep the rest for themselves. Do not expect them to return phone calls or emails to update you about the status of your application process. Do not expect to be able to speak with a supervisor or manager of recruiters because they only go to voice mail as well. Worst staffing experience of my life and cost me to lose out on a position/organization I was passionate about working at.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe more accessible to your candidates. Have an actual operator that answers the phones. Insist that your staff return phone calls and emails. A dissatisfied customer will tell between 9-15 people about their experience. (White House Office of Consumer Affairs). Is this the image you want for your company, in the age of social media?

    PostBrowning Cincinatti

    Management (Former Employee) Charlotte, NC

ProsGreat fellow employees to work with

ConsNo vision at the top level of management, poor pay, lot of layoffs, poor morale, don't care about their employees, purchased Spectrum Financial Systems out of Charlotte NC and over the past three years have transformed a great company that had vision, was growing, employees had positive attitudes and looked forward to the future, to a company that is significantly loosing revenue and customer base, with dissatisfied employees that are fearfully of loosing their jobs.

Advice to Senior ManagementShow your employees that they are valuable to the company, restructure upper management.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Never join this company

Senior Software Engineer (Former Employee) Denver, CO

ProsThere are few very good sales and recruiting team members who can help.

ConsThey do not support employee. They do not run payroll as promised. They terminate employees once out of project and with poor management skills in the company there are times your offers are lost though you have done good in interviews.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop false promises of 1 month payroll running and do not terminate employees and play with their life.

    My opinion about mastech

    Recruiter (Former Employee) Bangalore (India)

Prossalary and benefits to the employee is good. Salary is on time.

Consother than salary & benefits part everything inside the company is way too bad, too much of work pressure, Hiring and firing is common, too much politics inside the company, recruiter from one team may not talk to another team recruiter. in the past recruiters used to feel Mastech is the must have company in their profile. now its other way round because of hiring firing policy their brand value is completely coming down day by day. not less than 90% of mastech employees are terminated and working for different companies in and around of bangalore and other locations too.

i have see so many people hired and fired in this company, i dont know why they are hiring if they want to fire them.. such a worst company.. don't try to join and you get terminated from them and spoil your profile value.

Their mantra is "we are paying you and you are our slaves" do whatever we said..

They don't consider their workers as a human being.. they consider they are slaves...

Advice to Senior ManagementTry to be friend with the employees and try to make the brand name big like as you had before.

    Rude HR, Backtrack on salary

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

    Pros1) Good Legal Team
    2) Good Recruiting Team

Cons1) I have not experienced or heard worse HR policies
    2) Backtrack on salary

Advice to Senior ManagementImprove your HR by letting them know that Employee's/Contractors are their assets and treat them like one. At the end of the day HR is paid from Employee's hard work!

This company good first time when you are in project. Once project is complete they will show true color

    Senior Software Engineer (Current Employee)

    ProsSalary pay on time.
    Documents will send on time

    ConsNo single direct client.
Always middle layer. Mostly with TEKSystem. TEK and Mastech will take 50% of billing what ever client pays
Fire immediately when you are in bench. No matter how long you worked
Worst sales team I ever seen. I am sure If you bargain with vendor you can get more rates than sales team bargained
Even when you get new project with new Vendor mostly this contract will not work. since mastech reject contract if Vendor pays after 30days. This is the case mostly. First getting project soon is very tough but you have to face all the difficulties of Vendor contracts. Not understanding what is their business model
company looks good first time when you are in project. Once project is complete they will show true color
    Immigration team sucks

Advice to Senior ManagementBuild client relationship instead of focussing on the end layer

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
