    Pros

there were none that I could see

    Cons

rude management, the store owners did not care about employees or how they were treated, frequent schedule changes without prior notification, was told its not the companies problem I have no one to watch my 2 year old daughter and that I need to come in immediately, unsafe work environment, if you burn yourself management says to put mustard on it because they don't have burn gel or spray.

    Advice to Management

treat ALL of your employees with dignity and respect (not just the ones who cant speak English) and they will actually work harder for you, stop playing favorites.

    Cons

    I worked at McDonald's part-time

    Pros

One of the main benefits of working mcdonalds was that you were able to have a free meal at every shift. Very easy to get hired and simple work, helps young people break into the workforce, adds experience to put on a resume

    Cons

It was very embarrassing to work at mcdonalds. You start out min wage and management is stingy with raises, customers are sometimes very rude. Cleaning isn't fun

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees more and expect more out of them, don't let them be lazy. The managers should also train their employees more.

    Pros

It paid I guess is the only pro I can think of at,the moment

    Cons

Management doesn't care if you're literally in the hospital, they will cut your hours if you're not at work. Sexual harassment is taken as a joke and they force you to take several breaks even if you're on a 3 hour shift.

    Advice to Management

Value your workers because they're the ones slaving on the grill while you pig out.

    Pros

Free soda. One of the only good things about working at McDonald's was the free soda. Some of my fellow coworkers were also friendly.

    Cons

McDonald's payed me minimum wage to work overnights for overy a year. There was no 3rd shift premium. Third shift was understaffed, underpayed, and under appreciated. Day Management treated us horribly. There was nothing we could do right. Despite working bar close with only three people on staff, cleaning the entire store, and restocking for the day shifts and finishing the incomplete work left from 2nd shift, the 3rd shifters were treated like we were incompetent and lazy. The "flexible" scheduling was only flexible so far as when management wanted you to work, attempting to get a day off wad extremely difficult.

    Advice to Management

Management should treat the employees like actual human beings instead of garbage. I would also recommend working 3rd shift for a week at a time to get a realistic scope of what actually goes on.

  9. My experience at McDonald's was unfortunately very negative and I wish that my first job experience wasn't so bad.

    Pros

The positives are very slim. Decent hours were good I typically was working full shifts which is good for a high school student at the time.

    Cons

Although the employees for the most part were friendly, the mangers and some employees were too friendly.

I was asked countless times for hugs and even told that they want to kiss me. Very unprofessional.

They're were no boundaries. The kitchen and everything was very small so there were always 8-10 of us cramped back there. I guess this made some of the guys feel that it was ok to rub/massage my back? They (one of the managers) would punch or pinch me even. I'm a pretty short girl so even when I would say stop they wouldn't take me seriously.

    Advice to Management

I quit after about 4 months. I couldn't handle it anymore it was not worth it. The women started hating me because I would get a lot of
attention. Please focus more on professionalism. Know who you are hiring.
