    Time for change

    Shift Manager (Current Employee)
    Leland, NC

ProsGood staff, good location. Great job for high school or college age workers

ConsHorrible general manager & lousy pay! The work I do & the bs I have to put up with far out weigh the barely above minimum wage I make. I made more as a line cook at a hospital

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Great atmosphere to work in.

ConsPay was minimum wage and was hard to live off of.

    I Really Don't Know What You'd Expect

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

    ProsTime goes by pretty fast.

ConsPay is awful. The customers act like they've never been in public before. Seeing the product before it's been cooked or after it's been sitting around for a while is disheartening. Management as a whole isn't good (one time a manager locked the doors & wouldn't unlock them when it was time for me to go so I had to climb through the drive-thru window).

    Not A Good Job

    Cashier (Current Employee)
    Hutchins, TX

ProsThe only good thing about working here was the people I worked with.

ConsEverything. The pay is awful especially for the kind of work you have to do. There are no "regular" shifts. A lot of customers are rude.
This is my first job and I thought working here would give me skills and experience for any type of job. The only experience it gives is for fast food industries.

Loved the people hated the lack of management

    Crew Member (Former Employee)
    Mountain Grove, Wright, MO

ProsKeeps you humble you learn to appreciate the little things like when someone thanks you for going out of your way to make things right

ConsOn overnights you have to be able to deal with difficult customers...like drunks and tweakers while doing cash only. Not the safest if your a girl. Also for some reason managers would make people leave without completing there scheduled close incredible frustrating trying to take and fill orders while doing dishes and clean grills if someone doesn't show up.

Advice to Senior ManagementMake people do there jobs pregame have people who are standing around do something deck mop...at least front counter close. This job is not hard when we all pull together because everyone is pulling equal weight ;)

anything compared to this would be superb

    Crew Member (Former Employee)
    Land O' Lakes, FL

ProsFlexible hours and 50% off meals.

ConsThey scheduled you outside of those hours and 50% off is only while you're working.

Advice to Senior ManagementTrain your crew better and longer. I was hardly trained at all. I trained myself and they have crew trainers who are supposed to be doing that.

Conservative, traditional and old boy's club atmosphere dulls the Golden Arches

    Regional Staff (Current Employee)

ProsBrand recognition and fortune 100 exposure. Opportunities for growth if you are mobile. Good benefits and great bonuses when the business does well. Opportunity for college credits with your training for your roles within the organization. There is a significant commitment to diversity and inclusion.

ConsTenure and relationships always trumps performance. External hires have a difficult time transitioning because of the Old Boys Network atmosphere. While the company stores do a very good job with compliance and offering crew a good experience, the licensees are all over the place with how they deliver benefits to their crew.

Advice to Senior ManagementDo stay interviews and spend time with your people not just your groupies.

I was only here for quick cash and experience

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

Proswork experience. It was ok for a first job. something to put on your resume. not somewhere you want to be working over a year. the people you work with are pretty cool though. for the most part.

ConsBad hours. bad pay . its pretty much everything youd expect out of working at mcdonalds. Nothing special at all. get in and get out. don't work here if youre expecting big money. 80 -120 a week if youre lucky.

Good Starter job that teaches being patient with both customers and management.

    Sales Associate (Former Employee)
    Victorville, CA

ProsGood Starter job of younger people just starting out in the work force. Other co-workers are very easy to get along with.

ConsVery inconsistent work hours, no pay-raise, no befits, management was chaos and would give contradicting instructions. It is also a lesson in patients when dealing with rude customers. Some of Management also have some-what of a God complex.

Advice to Senior ManagementFocus on all Employees getting correct training, and making sure all management is on the same page when direction other employees.
