I have been working at McGraw-Hill Education full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

McGraw-Hill is a company that is at the head of the industry. It's constantly developing new and innovative products for students and instructors. The company hires well-educated, smart, and hard-working employees so it's great to work with my colleagues.

    Cons

It's difficult to get a decent increase in salary unless you transfer to another department or leave the company and come back.

I have been working at McGraw-Hill Education full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Has the resources and reputation of a well-established company, but with the fresh outlook of a start-up. In late 2013, for the first time during my employment, I can see virtually every employee buzzing about new ideas and opportunities, and I am seeing positive movement in all areas of the company.

    Cons

Personal career path is somewhat uncertain, as new roles and responsibilities are being established.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue with frequent and meaningful communication to employees.
