    Benefits, hours, work environment, free lunch on Fridays, no micro-managing, lots of mobility, no overtime

    Good pay, great benefits, incredibly smart people. You will always be challenged

    Cons

    Lifestyle - travel, expectations of working very long hours. Lack of impact - you will never be the one seeing things through to execution.

    - Very smart colleagues - Problem solving focus is tremendous and builds a lot of mental resilience and agility - Skills you learn will transform your career

    - partner/director population need a revamp.. too old world, relationship based... need to focus aggressively on keeping up with the changes in the business environment (transparency, work flexibility, virtual teams etc)

    Pros

    Tremendous focus on critical thinking and impact. The value of the brand and alumni network is probably more valuable that you might even imagine.

    Cons

    There is no way of getting around it, life at McKinsey is all-consuming.

    Pros

    Talented people, challenging problems, important decisions, senior level clients, interesting destinations, lots of travel, lots of impact, great network, good comp, lots of decision autonomy and responsibility, challenging environment pushes you to improve

    Cons

    Lots of travel, lots of hours, lack of sleep, hard on family life, hierarchical except for problem solving, hard to have end-to-end ownership as a consultant, overscoped and understaffed teams, up or out career policy

    Advice to Management

    Show genuine caring and appreciation for people, find time to spend with teams and clients, focus more on lifestyle, try to balance deliverables and team size, be more open and transparent
