    Pros

    Company takes a long term outlook and continuously seeks to remain relevant in aerospace and energy markets.
    Benefits package is higher than average.
    Recent emphasis on employee wellness.

    Cons

    Fast paced work environment.
    Need to be comfortable with multi-tasking and working in a multi-site environment due to nature of organization.

    I have been working at Meggitt full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    Good culture - strong focus on ethical behaviour. Work/life balance is good.Emphasis on development. I really enjoy the health program that focuses on rewarding you for staying healthy.

    the 401k program is great. Holiday time off is amazing.

    Cons

    no employee stock purchase plan for US based employees

    stay focused on People and supporting them in getting the job done with the right tools.

    Pros

    Meggitt performs well against its competitors, many are much larger than Meggitt. The name is well known and respected within the markets of engagement. Competitive salary and benefits with good learning opportunities. Very active in continuous improvement and customer focused.

    Cons

    Thought the company values are good, senior management can struggle at times to hear the good ideas from within the teams.
    If you struggle in a dynamic matrix environment consider how you would adapt before jumping in.

    Create opportunities, forums and strong processes for allowing new ideas to develop from within.

    Interesting job, working on a variety of different aircraft in Civil or Military applications. Wealth of experienced people to learn from.

    limited career development, somewhat dissorganised structure

    Pros

    Good culture and great learning opportunity. Lots of opportunities to move within the company. Pleasant and condusive working environment with nice colleagues

    Cons

    Not much focus on employees' welfare. Not much effort in retaining good employees. No proper policy and process workflow which results in unclear job scope of individuals.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Focus more on employee welfare, Have a scheme that rewards good employee occasionally e.g. can come up with cash vouchers for some employees who did well e.g. exceeded sales forecast, employees who come up with an improvement and lead the project and eventually successfully launch it. Organise company retreat / dnd. This will increase employees' morale and thus they would be more willing to do more than what they are expected in a job.
