Prosthe staff you work along side are great and not at all gossipy like at bnorth. most docs are nice.

Consmanagers will pick and choose who they want when interviewing for posted job positions. it is not based on how well you do your job or experience level; it's whether they like you.

Advice to Senior Managementbe fair and don't give people positions that don't deserve it. you're losing nurses because of stupidity on management's part. don't tell people they're bad nurses to get changes made.

ProsThere are lots of changes going on which could open up the opportunity for advancement.

ConsThere is not much of a balance between work and personal life. If you are a corporate person, your career is at the top of your priority list and you are willing to be available 24 hours 7 days a week to your supervisor then you would probably fit in well in this organization.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to your employees, take stock in one of the systems most valuable assets - its staff. Learn what motivates your employees and how to provide constructive critsicm. Employees within departments should be treated equally.
