    Pros

Smart, hard working, decent people at manager level and below. Pay very well even though inconsistently.

    Cons

Underwhelming leadership that encourage people to act badly. Male oriented. They allow part of the company to leave early on Fridays but most people have to stay - very odd policies and treatment of people.

    Advice to Management

This will never be a successful company without practical leadership, investing in longer term goals, and treating everyone at every level decently.

    Pros

Compensation was significant for an internship, I felt like the work I was contributing was valuable and teaching me a good deal.

    Cons

The company culture was not one I enjoyed. Being a college student, I felt that I was consistently being talked down to. I felt like my supervisor was continually condescending me.

    Pros

Nice people to work with. Ever changing patient population which kept the job fun.

    Cons

A lot of change with focus on the bottom line. People were used to working one way and then the bottom line became more important. Staff was not sure how to deal with the change. Employees appeared to be very stressed out.

    Advice to Management

    Better information on changes.

A once great company systematically destroyed by executive leader's lack of concern for its employees.

    Pros

Great people with a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge. Ability to work on multiple projects, globally.

    Cons

Senior leaderships' complete lack of respect for employees (especially HR). Always concerned with only the financial ROI. Lack of career development, weak succession planning and non-existant workforce planning. HR function relegated to that of simple administrative order takers from strategic business partner. Complete lack of strategic HR functional leadership.

    Advice to Management

Focusing solely on the bottomline (ROI), at the expense of respecting your employees contributions, will continue to fuel your top contributors' desire to find employment elsewhere.

    Cons

Always short staffed... No long term incentive. Only care about this qtr or year... No long term investment in the businesses.

    Advice to Management

Promote from within... Recognize employees who give consistent positive results... Implement a long term incentive.. It will help with turnover...

    Pros

Meritor has great people and some really interesting project work. Learning experiences will come from hands on project work. Co workers are all highly skilled.

    Cons

There is no balance between work and home a usual week is 70 or more hours due to lack of administrative support and analyst roles. Quality issues are creating ongoing challenges and it appears that the new product pipeline is weak. The recent departures by several senior leaders without a view to the larger strategic plan is a concern. Formal training and mentoring is lacking as managers are stretched too thin and financial resources are limited.
