    Pros

Greater flexibility from leadership due to small facility. Ability to make changes to existing policies because of smaller chain of command. Profit sharing and health benefits.

    Cons

Don't let money drive your entire business model. People exist within healthcare, not just profits. Frequent closed door meetings prevent good work-flow.

    Advice to Management

Stop the gossiping and backbiting that goes on within smaller departments. Listen to suggestions made by junior personnel. Don't overwork good employees; ensure that work is evenly distributed and pay the money to hire extra personnel!!

  2. Good company going through massive changes.,

    Pros

quality nursing care provided. Good collegial relationships with physicians.

    Cons

Management heavy. Continued use of medi tech computer programs a deficit to
good care . Way too much time spent on computers . The programs used are very user un friendly . Daily changes to routines in care of pts, increasing load already at max on nurses. Continue to loose benefits that have been staples in the industry/

    Advice to Management

In this economy not the best time to be cutting benefits, and am not just speaking about
changes in insurance but pay differentials. Travel pay when On Call, etc

    Pros

    Great reputation, excellent standards, policies.

    Cons

12 hour shifts, too many rules with new ones being cranked out daily. Employees encouraged to report one another. Supervisors listen outside patient rooms to employee's interactions with patient. We need more help on the floors, stop rushing nurses to take patients at unsafe times.

    Advice to Management

Value the employees & patients, they deserve better, safer care.
