    I worked at MetroPCS

    Pros

If you want lots of hours, this is the place for you. You can get 25+ hrs a week if management likes you. Great co workers! You learn a lot. You can get discounts on certain merchandise like phone covers, chargers, etc.

    Cons

The customers are the worst, but you still have to treat them nicely. You have to hold back a lot. These customers are especially hostile and aggressive. My store got robbed 3 times in the same year. The environment is unsafe for employees. There are no benefits or over time for this job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't focus employee training on just selling products and phones, but also train employees in emergency situations.

I worked at MetroPCS full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

There was plenty of both service work & infrastructure work to be done at relatively relaxed pace. Updating the general front-desk workflow have been achievable and very rewarding.

    Cons

Fellow associates' lack of technical background provided moderate obstacles during rush-hours, and backdoor maintenance and administrative support could have been improved.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be sure to adequately train the front-desk representatives on both value driven social skills, as well as operation skills of computer & POS systems to improve productivity.

I have been working at MetroPCS

    Pros

They are authorized dealers, so apply to multiple and see which one is better. Some offer 10% commission on the sales that u make, others pay a bit more or less.

    Cons

Competition with other dealers. There are MetroPCS stores everywhere. Within 5-10 minutes walking distance. So people want the cheapest offer.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Like in almost every company, there is favoritism. makes sales, treat customers fairly and treat good.
