Former Employee – worked at Milgard Manufacturing
Pros – Great people! Fair Compensation. Quarterly reviews provide regular feedback to every employee.
Cons – Weak senior management. Politics within the organization are considered sport. Milgard cultivates conflict between employees believing it makes them a better organization.
Advice to Senior Management – Top management need to engage with their employees and the industry. There is a radical disconnect between what corporate knows and what is reality at the individual facilities.

Former Employee – worked at Milgard Manufacturing
Pros – Down to earth people. Management has high level of integrity - Gessel, Sturgis.
Cons – Lots of talk about philosophy, but favoritism is given to many individuals. You may get written up for the smallest situation of "disrespecting" another employee and another may have a blind eye turned. HR is way too concerned about "investigating" insignificant issues - people are dragged into rooms for interviews. This creates chasms between employees as each thinks the other is sharing personal information about the others. Dialogue is stifled.
Advice to Senior Management – Make a decision! General management changes or alludes to upcoming changes that are very unsettling to employees. Many times they do not happen.

Current Employee – been working at Milgard Manufacturing
Pros – People are pretty nice and try to be helpful. Good discount on product.
Cons – Disorganized. Benefits are not great. Time-off is below average. No room to be creative or have your ideas heard. Very strict corporate atmosphere. Senior managers create a lot of useless "busy work" that do nothing but keep you from doing your actual job. OK if you are looking for a job but not good for a career.
