Current Employee – been working at MillerCoors
Pros – Excellent benefits, compensation and work/life balance. Downtown Chicago location half-block from Union Station is perfect for commuters. Pub on 16th floor opens for employees at 4pm!
Cons – Lots of State and Federal regulations in the beer business to deal with can be frustrating at times. Competition in this category is fierce, so winning with marketing is challenging.
Advice to Senior Management – Act more like a small, entrepreneurial company. Be nimble.

Former Employee – worked at MillerCoors full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – The atmosphere at Miller was very professional, supportive, and fun. The company embraced diversity and encouraged creativity. This was a company that valued its employees and invested heavily into training and development for success. Based on my experience, Miller provided reasonable, yet challenging, goals andd objectives; and, rewarded their employees for superior performance. Although relocation was typically required for advancement in the sales department, the company promoted from within and provided excellent financial and business support during these transition periods. I would recommend Miller to anyone with the desire to work hard and deliver results.
Cons – There were very few cons to my employment at Milller. Advancement usually required relocation; and, that could be a burden (I relocated 9 times in 14 years). However, they did promote from within which was a positive. A nucleus of "good old boys -- favorites" also existing among management that wasn't always a positive. These individuals were not held to the same standards at the rest of the company and occassionally did not deserve their position.
Advice to Senior Management – Continue to recognize your employees as your most valuable asset. If you don't already embrace 360 degree assessments, this may be extremely valuable in evaluating and developing your management team.

Current Employee – been working at MillerCoors
Pros – It is a very dynamic company with great leaders and strong brands. Constantly looking to change up the approach to meet the demands. A fun atmosphere to be part of.
Cons – It is a very large company, so you can sometimes feel swallowed up by that, too many re-orgs and structure changes for my liking.

Pros – They have excellent pay and benefits. The company is always encouraging their employees to learn and grow. Management is very open about future direction of the company and, expressing what is needed to meet the company's goals.
Cons – Production needs are dictated by sales, thus, the work schedule can be very demanding at times. Mandatory overtime can be demanding at times.
Advice to Senior Management – We are lucky to have such an experienced management staff. They have an uncanny way of foreseeing the market and the twists and turns that come their way which, helps correctly lead the company in a successful direction.
