I have been working at MobileOne full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Work life balance. No OT is needed and there is company transport bus from most mrt stations to m1 office. Just need to pay 40 dollars a month. Turnover rate is quite low, but of course depending on which department and boss as well. Work stress is minimal. Benefits are comparable though not the most fantastic in the industry.

    Cons

Pay is not really up to market rate, depending on how you negotiate though. Yearly increment is also pathetic, less than 5 percent mostly.

    Pros

Good work life balance, perfect for mummies or people who are doing part-time MBAs etc

    Cons

Basic pay is way below market rate
Increment is little, usually even below inflation rate
Bonus is only average, despite a poor basic pay
    Office is kind of old
PCs instead of laptops are used

    Pros

Fun environment. It's like one big happy family. A lot of welfare programs and teambuilding activities. Have flexible benefits and yearly staff voucher for handset purchase.

    Cons

For retail positions, no work-life balance. Very long working hours. New shop concept makes us stand the whole day. No room for career advancement. Salary package is below competitor's.

I have been working at MobileOne full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

A place suited for employees who strive to leave on time- a very relaxing environment. Great culture, and good and well-meaning colleagues.

    Cons

Salary is way below market rate, company is always haphazardly trying to cope with competitors, lack of innovation, lack of training.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If the salary is pegged to the work-life balance, then it's probably fair. However, if the company wants to grow, they should pay more to retain and hire talent.

    Pros

    Big company,young & vibrant initially
    Bonus is quite ok
    Handphone allowances

    Cons

Unluckily to be under a female boss who are very judgemental and biased..She promotes all her favourite staff and outright blacklisted all the staff that she don't like. That being said,it is only in the call center part.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Staff leave for a reason. It was a great company to start.Hope to see more 2 way communication between management and staff.

I have been working at MobileOne

    Pros

It is a pro family environment with sufficient worklife balance. Thus, the staff turnover rate tends to be quite low and stable. There is also adequate job security even in such uncertain times.

The workload is managable. There is significantly less office politics as compared to the other companies in the same industry.

    Cons

The company seems to have many low level ranks and promotion being typically slow. As such, young and ambitious individuals would find that career progression is slow due to the many layers of hierarchy in the company.

The basic compensation package together with the bonus payouts are lower as compared to industry norms as well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Disbursement of increments and bonuses should be more performance-based, as with promotions.
