    Pros

    Clayton is a good campus, teaching facilities are great, good life-work balance.

    Cons

    Research is slow paced, very hard to get collaboration, resource is limiting.

    Pros

    Work/life balance, generous employer Super contributions, great team environment, use of leisure facilities

    Cons

    Regular budget cuts limit creativity, limited transferability of skills-set when looking to exit tertiary education sector

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Better recognition of individual and team achievement needs to be made by senior levels of management, and consider financial support for employees considering undertaking further study (especially if a Monash course)

    I have been working at Monash University

    Pros

    Modern facilities, including advanced IT services. Good people with great ideas. A real sense that the place is contributing and moving forwards.

    Cons

    high expectations and ideas aren't always in the right direction.
    some long hours expected with little to no recognition.
    super isn't as good as other Universities

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    listen to your underlings. You were once them! Be proactive in recognising achievements and aware that not everyone shows off their successes
