I have been working at Moody's full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Good job profile..good launchpad for banking. Some teams work on corporate finance and project finance deals so offer better opportunities

    Cons

Bunch of old people unwilling to leave
Incompetent compliance folks running the show

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus more on employees than increasing Buffet's protfolio networth
Salary and compensation should be related to the complexity of the work done by the group. Some groups which are working same hours as banking folks should be paid significantly better than an average Moody's public finance group employee

    Doesn't Recommend
    Positive Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Strong presence in the market, benefits are decent, easy hours (9-5), good to have on resume.

    Cons

Promotions are only for those who play office politics and everyone leaves every other year in hopes of a promotion. Pay of salary is lower than the market.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If promotions are a slow process, provide those with a bump in bonus.
