Can't complain

Principal Software Engineer (Former Employee)
Sunnyvale, CA

I worked at Motorola Mobility full-time for more than a year

ProsWorking in Silicon valley you forget to be grateful. But the pros: great pay, free food, work is not bad either with each release there is a new exciting feature to work on. And great people. I loved my co-workers.

ConsAfter all you're working for another company, with the weight, the bad decisions, and the direction (to be sold) it is going in. I wish the culture were a little bit more competitive, tighter feature planning, less grunt work & processes.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Would have been great, but then Google happened

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at Motorola Mobility as an intern

ProsYou work with exciting technology and great people.

Perks:
- free snacks and drinks
- donut & bagels Wednesdays
- free gym membership

ConsWorked there during the company acquisition so there were a lot of changes happening and there was no clear lead or management. Didn't have the chance to implement actions or run with projects because of rebranding guidelines. Workflow was not efficient because of required authorization of actions.
