This company is large enough for employees to benefit from large company practices yet small enough that there are opportunities to learn the business end-to-end. Involvement in various initiatives allow employees to learn and grow within the organization.

    Cons

There are few if any Cons.

    Advice to Management

Continue to focus on the company culture.

I have been working at Movado Group as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

As an intern they allow you to get a broad scope of the business. You get alot of exposure to SAP and they trust you with alot of responsibilities. Your not treated like someone's assisstant you are treated like their coworker. Higher ups are accessible and easy to talk to and the experience you come out with for the future is priceless. Plus managers and supervisors are really flexible with your schedule and intern compensation is very good.

    Cons

Projects can get dry at some points. Full time offers are usually below what you would get at another company for a similar role.

    Advice to Management

Discount program on watches for interns.

    Pros

Relationships between family members are almost family like. The technical changes taking place are setting the company on course for a successful future. Management is strategically motivated.

    Cons

Post internship hiring is somewhat rare. The ability to work on projects after returning to school, however, is possible and encouraged in most instances.

    Advice to Management

Ask questions. Be prepared to work hard. Be prepared to be challenged. Think globally. Think about the relationships between systems, people, departments, and functions. Learn to appreciate the art and craft of watchmaking, the timekeeping industry, and horology.
