    I worked at Multimedia Games full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    * If you want a job where you can sit back and be lazy, this is the place for you.
    * They tend to be very loyal, often hiring back former employees who quit or get fired. Though, I'm not sure that's a good thing.

    Cons

    Middle and upper management spend more time trying to stab each other in the back than get actual products out the door.

    * Antiquated technology
    * Antiquated thinking
    * Not a technology company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Realize that you're a technology company, and understand what that means.

    I worked at Multimedia Games full-time

    Pros

    Casual work environment and work / life balance
    Some career growth possible
    Good location
    Ok compensation

    Cons

    Disloyal senior management trying to sell the company
    No accountability in senior management
    Too political for a company this small
    No real innovation done recently, just renaming past products
    Too much disparity between groups
    Losing talented people either voluntarily or forcing them out
    Immoral practices

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Reduce executive compensation. Invest in employees instead. Get rid of politics. Promote/commend employees who do the real work, not who are taking credit for it.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

    Go elsewhere if you consider your career growth important

    I worked at Multimedia Games

    Pros

    Pay is fair
    Good work/home life balance
    Unique work experience working with Indian casino gaming
    Casual work environment and dress code

    Cons

    Training is virtually nonexistent
    Disorganized in a lot of business processes
    Support from management is lacking at times
    Employees are placed in positions without consideration of their qualifications or their career path

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    When you unilaterally pigeonhole your employees into undesirable positions, you're pretty much telling them you don't value them as employees and they will go elsewhere. Start treating your employees as partners instead of flunkies. Work with them on their career paths to find the best fit for both the employee and the company.
