    Pros

    Many opportunities in govt projects
Many training courses available (though may not always have the budget or time to sign up)

    Cons

It is quite a shock that the company has been existent as a SI for so many years, but there are no established processes and knowledge management content and hence, standards differ very much among similar projects. Though there are training courses available, but they are not made mandatory to some crucial roles like PMs, where many don't even know what are the basic tools or processes in the company.
Cost cutting is strictly observed for the sake of doing it and there are no replacement of headcount even there are resignation cases and only when customers start banging tables and escalate to the sky, then the replacement request will be acceded. There is no investment in building the capabilities nor retention of good staff, but yet management will question why projects are not won.
Internal politics struggle among team in meeting their own agenda and revenue targets, and there is no synergy working among teams to leverage on each other's offerings and strength.
There are no KPIs enforced in performance appraisal and top down goals replicated from management to the staff. However, revenue targets given to the team are usually unachievable and unbelievable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please step back and relook into the structure of the whole company. The company needs a strong person at the top with the relevant experience, vision and foresight, as well as understanding to drive this company back to the right path.

    Pros

Colleague are nice, direct boss very good to his/her team member

    Cons

Hard to convert to perm, they prefer to hire new staff instead of convert loyal and talented existing stuff, and project are alway with OT and pain, need to sacrifice personal time to work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's better to review the HR policy about how to better keep the existing talented, your own job to review your existing staff instead of spending money on hunting the new staff everyday, this will be good for every project and also good for company, check the rating in the glassdoor, it's hard to find out the company less than 50%, it's time for the top management to review the company policy and to find out why, think about detail and find out and fix the bugs in NCS

    Pros

Good medical benefits and 18 days of leave
Brand name especially among local players. forget about overseas market
    Slow pace and forgiven environment

    Cons

    Strong political tussle among teams
A lot of pressure on costing down, 'expected daily and weekend OT', low increment, acheiving financial targets at all cost
employees who 'wish' to transfer to another department are always given a very bad performance review by their previous department

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on strengthing revenue, identifying new revenue streams instead of focusing on costing down. There's a finite amount that the company can cut.
And yes please increase the renumeration

A sugar-coated local company that package like a MNC.

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

    -Work-life balance
    -Good boss
    -Good and affordable food
    -Lots of events for staff
    -Salary package is attractive

    Cons

-Environment is just terrible and filthy. Badly need a renovation.
-Time to upgrade the equipments. They are still using a dial button phone which is so old it can be consider as antique.
-Due to having a lot of old timers, they are not helpful when you need advise or help. The most common reply they use will be "Sorry can't help" or "That's not my responsibility"
    -Avoiding work/responsibility is common.
    -No standard procedure.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Turnover rate is high due to the cultural and mindset of the old timers.
