    Pros

I suppose it's a nice place if you're an under-achiever and just looking for a 9 to 5 job where you won't be expected to do anything extraordinary.

    Cons

The management is terrible. No appreciation for good work. No career opportunities unless you're into office politics. Thinking outside of the box is discouraged. Bad vibes and unpleasant work atmosphere.

    Advice to Management

Retire and go home. The current senior management is a lost cause. Also, replace your entire HR department.

    Pros

Good living in the orange county. Nice suburban area, near the ocean, in the heart of one of the richest CA counties. If the work place was better - would be perfect.

    Cons

Too much politics, there is no appreciation from the management, low pay. Engineers expected to work long hours, a lot of working with the off shore development teams (India, Israel, UK, Hong Kong, China, Korea...). Most of the work is maintaining existing systems, almost no new development (which is done in Israel).
Company treats employees as if they have to be grateful for given the chance of working there.

    Not a catch.

    Advice to Management

Start investing more in your human resources

    Cons

At the time of joining HR guys made hurry to join, and said me to buy out notice period which they will pay, and later they refused, this is not about amount, this is about false commitment they made.
    Inside teams :
    No team work.
    zero training, zero guidance.
Every one is doing get his best individually , only to get credit alone.
    Biased people.

    Pros

Very very profitable with loads of cash
Facilities are top notch: Might rank among the top companies in taking care of its employees
If you can be friends with the right managers you are settled for life and retire rich being totally clueless about anything.

    Cons

The middle level managers coming in from other companies are clueless with high egos
    highly political.
not a good company for learning stuff.
the Indian top management has never worked/ had all their entire experience in NDS/ been thrown out of other companies. they are useless.

    Advice to Management

Throw out the entire middle management they are worthless and think screwing around with others work/ torturing others is productive work and even feel proud about it.

    Pros

Free snacks, literally that's the only good thing about this place. But this also won't be there from April 2012 onward.

    Cons

1> They take people for core java development, calls for some nut breaking interviews. But when one will actually start with the work, one could find out how pathetic it is! One will end up changing only xmls. So you'll enter the company as a lion and will end up being a mule! Seriously. You may ask anyone.

2> One's career will shrink with time. You'll learn nothing but how to change xmls and how to use IBM Clearcase and Clearquest.

3> Management is is shallow in experience. Only in this company you will find people having 4-6 years of experience have become Team Leads! And, obviously, they lack managerial skills.

4> Promotions are totally biased. People having lesser experience (be it overall or only NDS experience) and have done lesser amount of work might get promoted before an eligible candidate.

5> Work life balance = 0. One must stay 'in office' for at least 40 hours a week even if you're done with your work and after that you might also end up working during the weekend at times.

    Advice to Management

No advice required to be given. Wise men don't need advice. Fools won't take it.
