Former Employee – worked at NICE Systems
Pros – Medical benefits are good, and they are available day 1
Vacation benefits are good, but you are discouraged to take them.
Cons – Only Israeli nationals are promoted to executive positions.
Lack of investment in allowing employees to succeed in supporting Customers.
Asks a lot of employees, but does not give much in return
Work/life balance is nonexistent
This is the worst place I've ever worked
Advice to Senior Management – Take some of the money that you have in your profits and invest it in your infrastructure and employees. Start to respect the employees and not view them as a cog in the wheel.

Current Employee – been working at NICE Systems full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Money in bank so get paid every month
Cons – No pay rise
No interaction with senior managment
No money spent on employee development or team building
Advice to Senior Management – Go and look at your culture and try and develop a different one to the one you currently have, there is a world outside Israel, we would like so team building days, team meetings etc, istead of the week in week out grind of staying in budget hotels and longhaul flights in economy but exected to deliver premier services.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Former Employee – worked at NICE Systems
Pros – Great products and most non leadership people were great to work with. Allowed most employees to work from home. Benefits and pay were average for industry.
Cons – Lack of any upward mobility. Minimal training, large amount of travel required. No rewards for extra effort or any form of recognition for job well done.
Advice to Senior Management – Not everyone is from Isreal. There must be clear paths for upward mobility for people who want to move up in the company. Improve the feedback to employees about their job performance.

Current Employee – been working at NICE Systems
Pros – - It has some good recording solution.
Cons – - It is a very arrogant company, both to customers and partners. It makes people very difficult to do business with.
- It lacks of enterprise level operation systems. It is like a giant SME to me. There are lots of people who has no idea in the skillset and the deliverables of his/her role. They deliver their job by gut feelings. The patterns get stronger when you get closer to the headquarter.
- It is very mean to the employees, especially to the sales guys.
- There is no strategy. If you ask the employees, I don't think most of them can tell you the company's strategy. People work like a multi-directional vectors.
- The morale is low. The people are depressed.
Advice to Senior Management – Seriously consider to hire a third party consultancy firm and formulate some long term strategy before being squeezed away in the market.
