I worked at National Grid USA (Less than a year)

    Pros

Only good things to say about National Grid's Intern Program. I highly recommend it to any student looking for a good career in the Northeast region.

    Cons

The pay should be a little more competitive with other similar intern positions. Other than that, I enjoyed my internship and would recommend it to any of my student peers.

I worked at National Grid USA full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Excellent support system, pro employee development

    Cons

There is no facility that is commutable once I relocated. I would have worked there until I couldn't work any longer.

    Keep up the good work.

I have been working at National Grid USA full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great work life balance and flexible work schedule availability. If you work hard and know what your doing it will be noticed by management and you will get what you deserve as far as promotions and salary go. Very ethical company who tries to do the right thing.

    Cons

Few cons except most training will take place on the job.

I worked at National Grid USA as an intern

    Pros

The best part of working for National Grid was the culture. It's a big company, but things like the interdepartmental bocce competition made it fun to come to work.

    Cons

This is not strictly a con, but as a young guy, almost all of my co-workers were much older than me.

    Advice to Management

Keep publically recognizing employees for their exemplary contributions, but ease up with all the regulations so they don't have to spend as much time filling out paperwork.
