I worked at National University of Singapore part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Well-known name and reasonable location at the South-west of Singapore. Ample parking space at reasonable monthly rate that is pocket friendly

    Cons

Depending on your role within the organisation, it may be hard to progress beyond. Considering the fact that it is not as profit driven as other companies, moving on to an opportunity in a profit company may not be smooth.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look at removing certain processes and red tape to enhance efficiency. The vision and mission is currently in my opinion aligned with the present state of the environment.

I worked at National University of Singapore part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Good source of income while studying, and teaching helps to solidify your skills. You get a lot of freedom in your work, and it feels good to help the next batch of students learn. The hourly rate is decent and the hours are generally manageable. Fellow tutors that I've worked with were all friendly and willing to lend a hand.

    Cons

Balancing school and work can get difficult towards the end of semester, and it's a commitment so you cannot give up halfway.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Tutors don't have staff printing privileges, but other than that everything's good!
